It was completely the wind tonight. There wasn't a throw, pitch, strike out, or homer that wasn't due to nature or luck. The wind played the game out there, not the players. We were robbed!!!

I can't believe we lost that game. I am so upset right now. I can't sit through game 7, that's going to be too stressful for me. Plus now I have to miss the Thursday night lineup.

Jen, I'm with you....It's like we are in mourning over in this house. My fiance just called (he was at the game)..he sounded soooooo depressed! As I said b4...it could be worse....we still have game 7

I know we still have game 7, but I really didn't want it to come to that. To me beating Boston is bigger than winning the world series. This is huge and I didn't want it to come down to Pedro vs. Clemens. But I guess that's what the baseball gods had in store for us.

My father made me feel better...
he said yrs ago they used to fix the games to make more $$...who knows?? maybe thats what they had planned?? I hate Pedro...and I have always hated him...this whole thing made it worse....lets just keep our fingers crossed.

I know a lot of people think they do that. And yeah Fox and the Yankees and everyone involved make a lot more money if this goes 7 games, but then you look at the years when teams have been swept and that's when I don't buy into it being fixed. I think in this case the wind really took the game over and that's what did it.

Let's not forget that Pedro has been knocked around a lot in the post season. There's a big question about his health and if his arm is ok. There's a big possibility that he will struggle early and if he does and we take a lead, it will be all over.

I really think it was the wind tonight. I couldn't even walk in NYC today let alone throw. That is ridiculous that thye played. It wasn't any of them out there. Playing against that wind will handicap anyone!!!

I just think it could have gone either way. One more inning, let's say and the yankees could have had the same. I just think the other element there played such a big factor in the game. You are right, misty, but maybe I have the answer ....

It was more windy when the Yankees were at bat, than the Sox. It cooled down for them!!!! Were was the Babe when you need him???

The Sox hit the ball harder than the Yankees did which is why the wind helped them more. The Yankees needed to hit some fly balls to have the wind help them.
