Re: What reception hall was your second choice???
The only other thing we were considering was at a Vineyard out east..way too far and $$ because it would've been a whole weekend wedding

FH's second choice was Harbor Club. Mine was either Thatched Cottage or Bayview House at Capt Bills.

Re: What reception hall was your second choice???
We only went to 3 halls...we knew we wanted on the water & not a bunch of weddings at a time. Our 2nd choice would have been the Riviera, but we were a bit hesitant if it rained w/ the cocktail hr room being a bit small.

Re: What reception hall was your second choice???
It was betwee n Milleridge and Westbury Manor. Ideally, DH and I wanted to get married in Woodstock, VT but it was too far. That's why we picked Fox Hollow- it reminded us of a Vermont cottage.

The Crescent. But our menu at the Thatched could not compare with the Crescents. Too much french food if you ask me..

Re: What reception hall was your second choice???
Well our 1st choice was Land's End for sentimental reasons, but there was no way we could pull that off! And I really like the Watermill but I wanted to be the only wedding that day and they wouldn't let us do an evening ceremony there. So, we went with Stonebridge intstead, it's perfect!!

Re: What reception hall was your second choice???
Lombardis on the sound was my second choiceI was concerned with people finding it and if the roads were icey
plus I didn't like the room to get married in- and since I was getting married at night in the winter I didn't see paying for the waterview
but the food was great!
