I find it hard to say I fit one particular size. It really does depend on where you shop. Most often I'm an 8, but some places I'm a 6 and some places I'm a 10 (mostly places that market to the teenage crowd - although I dont shop there much anymore!).
Plus, I'm 5'9' and have a larger frame I think, and am unfortunately well endowed, so that makes sizing hard - dresses are almost impossible for me - I always have to go a size up and get it taken in around the waist and hips.

Ahhh - if only I could have everything custom made.

But ladies - DONT pay attention to the size on the tag - it's so inconsistant now-a-days - its the FIT that counts!!

depends on what store I go to. In old navy Im a 10, and in NY & Co. Im an 8, and even got away with a 6

i never understood sizes and what people say there wear - i know girls that in pictures that i see and in person are bigger than me - but claim that they wear a size or two smaller- i dont know --

maybe it is that your body shape effects the size you are and not the weight - im 5'8', and 128 lbs and im a size 8/10 in pants... it seems that people that weaight and inches shorter than me say that they are like 6s....

maybe im shopping in the wrong stores lol

I think it is all in the muscle and weight distribution. I have been all different sizes at different weights. I wore 8's when I was 135 and 165 and it was just the way the weight was distributed and the muscle I had at the time.

I agree. I was 160 and I was a 12 but could squeeze into a 10.

when i got engaged i was a 6

during the engagement i was a 6/8

after i got married it went to 10/12

do you see a pattern here?

wow so many tiny skinny minnies!!! I am now a 10 I was a 4-6, but after meeting DH and eating out and being lazy now I am a 10, I have been going to the gym religiously now b/c when youre in your 30's its not so easy to take off. I hope to be back in the 4-6 range very soon.

I just got back into my 10s ........... and I do have a difficult time finding my size in many stores! But maybe I shouldn't go for the size 8 because they're even harder to find, therefore, pass me that Hershey bar please!
