The cathedral veil came off after the ceremony, and the two tiered veil came off after the first dance.

I took it off around 10:30pm, after the father daughter dance and the cake cutting. We had an hour and a half more of the reception.

I loved my veil!!!!! I kept it on the for the entire day. You only get to wear it once!
I had an elbow length veil.
