When do I order my headpiece?

Hi everyone. To change the subject from tipping and starving vendors:-) When should I order my headpiece?? I am getting married October 28 2000. Should I get it now and hope my cat doesnt eat it :-) Someone told me to try Patchogue Floral-FantasyLand. The bridal shops are way over priced. Please let me know what you think. Thanks

Rob

When do I order my headpiece?

I say order it when you find one you like : )

I have cats too - and my little one sure loves my veil! Locks on the closets are a must!

You can order it now and take it to be pressed just before your wedding.

When do I order my headpiece?

Thanks for the help. My cat loves anything that dangles. I cant hang the bathrobe on the back of the door with the ties hanging shell swing from them. Thanks again.

Congratulations best of everything.

When do I order my headpiece?

Dear Concetta,

Once I found the veil I liked and ordered it it took 6 weeks to come in. But like Karen said....better to get it as soon as you see the right one, just incase their is a problem and you have to have them send it back.

When do I order my headpiece?

I am getting married September 17th and already have my tiara. I dont have the veiling yet cause I want to see how it would go with the material of my dress! BUT let me tell you something. I saw the tiara at a store in forest hills. It was $240... too much for me. But it had a tag with the brand name and style number so I remembered it and found it online for $80... Same EXACT one! It was my best bargain so far in the wedding planning. I got it at weddingexpressions: http://store.yahoo.com/weddingexpressions/ The people on the phone were very nice and I got it in less time then they told me.. Maybe 3 weeks. Give them a try once you find something you like in the store... And you can always order the veiling later on once you get the dress.

Phyllis: Rogers is a chain. They have lots of locations

No one is forced to do anything. I've only made suggestions in areas that I thought you might be interested. We are talking about paid employees in a service oriented business. Not the owners who "charge thousands of dollars" (as if we're stealing from you or being innapropriate in our pricing. Believe me; if any business owner charged the wrong amount, he would be out of business in no time. And there are very few vendors who are making a fortune while maintaining any semblance of family life. Most of us are in this business because we enjoy it; not to make a fortune or to have an easy life!)
