I think I set my budget a little low for photographer. I am still suffering a bit of sticker shock over everything. I just saw a porfolio online today that I love - www.susanbakerphotography.com.

I haven't even begun to think about menu yet! So much to do!

We are using verdi for photographer, eturnity for our band and mary conway for our flowers. I know jennyg used claire bean although I think Claire may be on the expensive side because she's in westhampton. We are staying at the inn at quogue - and having rehearsal dinner there. They have been great so far. As far as add-ons for cocktail hour - we are only having the pasta bar. From what I've heard from past Atlantica brides, there is plenty of food so no need for add-ons. Let me know if you guys i have any other questions - I'm almost three months and counting so I'll be able to give you guys a review before your weddings.

How is everyone's planning coming along?
I have a question, I'm in the process of looking into hotels, Inns, etc...
Where is everyone staying on their wedding night? Any special places out there? We're not sure where we want to stay yet.
I'd love a good recommendation.

I think we may stay at The Inn at Quogue on the wedding night, but if you need ideas, check out The Hidden Mill Inn. It's in Remsenburg, which is a few miles away. Check out the Tea House at back, it's really cute. I love it.

right I'm stressing over where to stay, we're trying to rent a house in whb on dune road but jsut this week the guy hasn't called us back

I was married at Atlantica last September. We rented the most gorgeous home on Dune Road and it was very reasonable.

hi wow thats funny that i am a day before you. I am having me hair and makeup done at my moms by mya, then she is comming to the atlantica with us. she is staying till the reception starts (8:00pm)
she will travel anywhere and is great. if you need more info on her let me know.

we are staying at the bath and tennis hotel the night of wedding. we got our whole wedding party rooms as one of their gifts. i heard that they do not have beautiful rooms, but who cares we are going to stay in beautiful hotel rooms on our HM..... also we rented out the bar when you first walk in for 2 hrs after the wedding
how far along with planning are you?
things are starting to get very stressful!!!!!!

I rented out the bar for 2 hours after as well!

I am getting married there in about 3 weeks! I can't believe it is right around the corner. If anyone has any questions, let me know. I am running around putting all of the finishing touches on everything.

I am so excited!

we are having an open bar. the reception ends at 12:00am and we rented the bar till 2:00am we payed $200 an hour to rent it.

The $200 is for a cash bar. I'm sure you could work it out to be an open bar though.

18 days left!!



Our reception ends at midnight. Right now, it is a cash bar, but I think there will be some family members picking up the tabs (my dad, his dad).

I am so excited to have this option. If it is right down the stairs, everyone will go. Sometimes I don't make it to the after party (at other weddings) if there is traveling involved or if everyone goes back to the hotel first. I am also having a shuttle back to the Inn at Quogue at 12:00, 1:00 and 2:00am. I can't wait!

lucky lucy - would definitely be interested to find out where you got the shuttles from? as of now I have school buses b/c the shuttles I found were just as expensive and fit half the amount of people.
