the roslyn duck pond is very nice just like jenn said WATCH OUT FOR GOOSE POOP! We went there to look @ it after we checked out the George Washington Manor and it's beautiful but full of geese & their droppings!!! GOOD LUCK! i'll try to think of some other places!

wacky, we're taking our engagement photos at the planting fields arboretum in oyster bay... Not sure if its too far for you, but Lia recommended it as a place to take pictures. The wedding is in NJ, so pictures will be taken there.

How about the Sands Point Preserve in Port Washington?
They have a beach, a park, and castles

Teri took pics there, I can find them for you if you want

There is a beautiful gazebo near the Garden City Hotel. I think it's on Stewart Avenue.

Since we are on the subject does anyone know if you need a permit to take pics on the long beach boardwalk or at atlantic beach. I am getting married at Bridgeview and also have like 2 hrs in between
