where to put "the book" ???

where to put "the book" ???

Where does the book for guests to sign go??? Is it at the church or just the reception? If it's next to the table cards, some people may miss it on their mission to find their name...so should there be a bridesmaid their to remind the guests? What do you think, or what are you planning???

I'm having a close friend take polaroids of all guests as they arrive at the ceremony (an outdoor ceremony, at the same place as reception) She will then put the picture in an acid free scrapbook I bought, with photo corner tabs. After the pictures are in, we will leave it at the table with the place cards, but she will review it in the middle of the reception and if someone forgot to sign she will find them and remind them.

Yes rings cost alot, but you will only buy one wedding ring. I was in Fortunoffs (not to say that another place wouldnt be good as well) and I fell in love with a diamond band they had. I have gone back since and had it resized and was really happy with their work. All of there rings were very well made, and they have a tremendous selection. I say go for something really good, you will have it forever and you want it to look beautiful.

The guest book should be at the ceremony and at the reception. At the ceremony it should be before you enter the church/temple... near the programs maybe. AT the reception with the place cards or on a separate table that some catering halls have. Good luck.

No need to be paranoid.......just aware. : )
