Where to shop for invitations?

I was wondering if anyone has heard of some reasoable and nice places to shop for invitations. I have no idea what they cost or where to go and i am also not sure how far in advance we are supposed to order them. Our wedding is Aug. 4 2000. thanks a lot...

I'd never heard of that place but will be sure to visit it soon! Thanks - as always - for your words of wisdom! Much appreciated!

Boy does it sound like we have similair taste LOL I got them at FantasyLand in Patchogue. There are different price ranges depending on what kind of stem you want. I think mine were less than $1 because I decorated them myself. You should take a ride out there, they would definitely have frames too. I planned half of my wedding from that place! Gina :)

Where to shop for invitations?

Hi Jeanine:

I just bought my invitations last Sunday and they are going to be ready Monday. I was extremely happy with Party Hardy, which is a chain of party supplies, gadgets, baloons, etc. The one over here in Nesconset on Smithtown Boulevard is great. The girl is wonderful. She was probably a College student; she had the patience of a saint and was extremely helpful. They give a 20% discount off the book price (Carlson Craft, Birchcraft, etc). I can't believe that they will be ready on Monday! I paid 199.89 for 100 invitations. I don't know the telephone number but it's Party Hardy in Nesconset. Check it out. They have about 10 -12 books to look at. Good luck!

Where to shop for invitations?

Thank you sooo much...whn do you think i should order, if i want to get them out in early june?

Did you ever get the money back? Also, I will never use Imperial Manor for anything now.

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated, since I'm doing the flowers myself (silk) ahead of time, and as much as I love Patchogue Floral, I don't want to make too many trips there.

Where to shop for invitations?

I would order them whenever you are ready. I ordered mine last week, they are in today and I'm sending them out end of February. I have time now to do my calligraphy on the envelopes. It's less pressure and I can take my time. I found the address and telephone number. She is there on Sundays too, not Saturdays though. 145 Smithtown Blvd, Nesconset, NY - (516) 979-6600

If anyone has any prior experiences with Imperial Manor, good or bad, I'd love to hear them (so would we all! - even from a vendors prospective!).

Kate, Who are you using for calligraphy? What's the turn around time? Price?

Thanks, Lorraine
