My friends wedding at John Anthonys... not necessarily because of the food/centerpeices/cake etc...BUT we had such a great time dancnig, drinking, taking pics with the view..It was great!

I liked a wedding at the Watermill. My friends paid for everything. It was wonderful

I haven't been to too many weddings...but the ones that stand out was one at Terrace on the Park. They had rolling bars and the service was top notch, I danced all night.
My sister's wedding at a restaurant in Brooklyn. It was buffet food, small wedding (only family and very few friends) and the happiness was evident. I had a blast.

ETA: Of course, MY wedding is the best so far...it rocked! I'm highly biased! But it was a combination of both I described above. So much love and incredible service...I worried not for a thing and my guests were so grateful for being invited.

That is so great to hear about Terrace on the Park!!!!

That's where I'm having my reception and there's not always that much written about it ... sometimes that makes me a little nervous!

Just went to a wedding on Tribeca Rooftop last Friday! The space is amazing with the view of the city all around and very NYC, the service is unbelievable and the food.. WOW!! I was eating and drinking non stop
Best wedding so far!

Also went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens last August.. stunning grounds!

Hey!!! I'm getting married there next month! I'm so excited that you had a good time and that the food and service were great!!!!

Goldi - I agree it's sooo hard to rate the best one!

I'd say Russo's for the food, but I loved the atmosphere of the Vanderbilt (shout out to sfp0214). I adore this one place in Jersey but not crazy about the area it's in and the valet parking.

I think the best weddings are the ones you feel like you FEEL the love of the couple. But don't get me wrong, a good V hour can change my mind in an instant!

My Brother's was at The Plaza Hotel in NYC... but I was in High School at the time so I didn't truly appreciate it.

Oheka Castle (in terms of grounds / scenery)

The Carltun (food)

Jericho Terrace (food & viennese hour to die for!!!)

Hmm, I've only been to about 4 weddings in my lifetime so that's not much to go on. And one was upstate, that's a whole other world!

I'd have to say Villa Lombardi's for the food!!! Too bad I was there with my ex!

And I was just a kid but I remember having a great time as my aunt & uncle's FG!!

Of course, that's bc I haven't been to my wedding yet which will undoubtedly become my new #1!!!

Definitely the Westchester Country Club...

The food was AWESOME. Everyone at my table was literally on the verge of licking their plate.

The service was also fantastic! The waiters were always there, and were excellent about bringing us drinks, etc.

The room is absolutely gorgeous as well...Very high ceilings, and it looks out on the golf course which is breathtaking.

Their band, Vali, had everyone dancing all night, and everyone is still raving about them.

Congratulations! That place is beautiful! The food was excellent.. and the cake was soo delicious

You're soo lucky! have a great time and make sure you eat! Especially at the cocktail hour!
