I think that this book should be required reading for every woman. I read through it so that I could stop taking BCP and not get pregnant and learned more than I ever imagined!!Now when we are ready to TTC, I'll be so ready.

I am dying to get off the pill but we are not ready to TTC. I am going to get this book if it helps with this. Then when we are ready to TTC, I will be prepared.
Thanks for the recommendation!

I never know when I ovulate...I never get CM...I refuse to check my CP...oh well....i don't want to use OPKs until a few months of trying...
You should take your basal temps then. If I never took my temps I'd never get pg. Found out I ovulate later than day 14 like our wonderful sex ed classes had taught us.

the single most helpful thing i learned from that book is that your luteal phase is constant every month.
knowing that my luteal phase is 12 days long every month, i can count back and be positive as to when i ovulate. if it was not for this bit of info., i would never have realized that i was o'ing on day 17 and 18 when i thought i was o'ing on day 14.
and what the book says is true - even my doctor did not know that it is the follicular phase that varies and not the luteal phase.
every doc should have to read this book!!!
mine isn't. The first month it was 9 days. Then it was 12 days.
