Our hall was being taken over by lessings (who we liked). we loved Lovin Oven and they only had one Sat in June left so we took it.

We originally wanted to get married on September 29, 2007. That was the date of the first time FH told me that he loved me. I thought it was cute to stick with a date that already meant something to us. Well, the church was taken. I've been going to the same church all my life so there was no way I was going somewhere else.

Then we talked about it. We wanted to go to the Caribbean for our honeymoon and Sept-Oct is hurricane season so we decided to move it up to May. My brother is graduating with his Masters either the 12th or the 19th. So those 2 days were out. I didn't do the 5th because if we went on a 2 week honeymoon then I'd miss my brother's graduation. So we chose the 26th. It's Memorial Day weekend but none of our immediate family goes away so we went with it.

We picked 7-1 b/c FI is a teacher and we thought it would be best to get married in the Summer.

So we picked the first weekend he was done w/ work.

I knew that I didn't want a summer wedding so my next choice had been a fall wedding, but with me going back to school to be a teacher and FH coaching high school and middle school football, a fall wedding was out of question. So we looked at the calendar and fell in love with a Christmas/ New Year's wedding. We went to school up state so we love the snow and cold. I'm so excited for our day!!!!! I just wish it wasn't so far away!

We both always dreamed of getting married in the fall. Our dating anniversary is the 11th (January 11) and since the 11th is a Thursday in October 07, we picked the 12th. One date higher for our next anniversary!

I always loved June, our anniversary is June 14th but I will be a teacher by then and will need off and can't really take too much time so the closest was July which I love because we love the summer. The 21st is because there was only the 21st or 28th available at my hall and the 28th is my sisters bday and didn't want it on that so we picked July 21st. We love our date.

We wanted summer because we're teachers and the end of July was perfect because it's right in the middle of our vacation. Saturdays were too expensive and we wanted an evening wedding, so Friday night July 27th was perfect.

well we will be celebrating our TEN year dating anniversary on Jan 16, 2008 which falls in the middle of the week ( we would have had to wait until 2010 for it to be on a friday!)

so the weekend after was MLK weekend so we decided the weekend before so we can always celebrate our two anniversaries together!

PLUS FH owns a bait store so only the winter months are possible for us - and the money we are saving is RIDICULOUS!

We were looking for a Holiday weekend so we could have it on a Sunday (pricing is better), and our OOT guests didn't have to take a day off on Monday.

FH mentioned a while ago that he WOULD NOT get married in the summer because of the heat. So next up was fall which I was happy with because I LOVE everything about the fall. Once we started talking about getting married I would joke around with everyone that I was getting married on Oct. 27th, for no other reason than I liked the date, even if I didn't have a ring yet. When I finally got the ring and it came time to look at RH the price difference between Fri and Sat made the decision for us. October 26th it is! Its my MOH's B-day and she keeps saying that she knows this is an elaborate scheme to get her to her surprise b-day party. Our wedding date is about e weeks before our 6 yr dating anniversary.

I knew I wanted July and soon realized that 07/07/07 fell on a saturday.

I just loved the date.

Afterward, realized that The year we get married, will be our 7th year together.

and its the seventh day of the week

i always envisioned getting married on the 4th of July .. so when we looked and thought about it we chose July 3rd mostly everyone has off the next day .. it just fit us ...

Because it's convenient for family travel that weekend, and bc we both love our hall decorated for Christmas, but didn't want to risk major snowstorm!

We would be dating 10 years on Dec. 23 ( plus that is the day we got engaged) but since we can't have it that day for obvious reasons we did i omnth before - November 23rd, plus I hate being hot so we liked the idea of a fall weding!
