July 13, 2007- FRIDAY THE 13th!!!! HAHA!

We wanted a summer month because our dating anniversary was 1.8.99... always coooold winter weather, we wanted a warm anniversary date for the rest of our lives. So we went to the Woodlands and all she had left was July 13... We dove on it! In the italian culture, 13 is a LUCKY #... and my mom was born on a friday the 13th too... Our wedding day will be my mom's 70 1/2 b-day! hehe

13 is my Lucky Number !!!! I wanted 10/13./07 as my wedding date because i wanted 13 & it feel on a Sat. But all the halls that i liked didnt have that Date anymore sooo I took the 29th of Sept two weeks sooner ... But i dont care everyone made me feel better by telling me not to worry the date doesnt matter you will have the rest of your lives together no matter what the date is soo that made me feel a little better

I'm a teacher so it had to be during the summer and this was the only sat night they had open

We originally wanted an October wedding, but financially November worked out better.

I wanted to pick a date in between semesters at school, but we did not want to get married in July or August. So I we picked as early in June as possible.

It was the day he proposed! It was on a Friday so naturally in 07 it fell on a Saturday! Yeah!

bc i have off that week, and it was cheapest for our guest to fly over (having a DW) and the driest month in Ireland!

I always wanted to get married in the late spring, and didn't want to feel like I had to get married in the Summer b/c I am a teacher...originally wanted Memorial Day Weekend, but the RH was not available.

FH and I wanted a St. Patty's day wedding but 2008 is a leap year so we miss. Our first option in that case was the weekend before st. pat's. Turns out that weekend is Palm Sunday which wouldn't be good cause the family priest who is doing the ceremony would be able to do it. The weekend after that is Easter which is a no go in the Catholic Church, so we decided on the last weekend in March and we're still doing an Irish theme Italian cuisine

our anniversary is may 23- but that weekend is memorial day weekend so we didnt wana do that...so we chose the sat before..this way, we will be relaxing on our honeymoon for our 5 yr anniversary <33

FH fell in love with the date 7-7-07 and thought it would be the luckiest day ever to get married...seeing him that excited about the date was so cute that I instantly agreed and 7-7-07 it is!

We originall y wanted 4/14 but it was booked. Tne my sister college graduation is 5/20 so we didn't want to have it the month before that with her finals and such. And I didn;t want to go later than May because FH will have to move for an intership starting July 1 and I was nervous with giving notice and my job andstill being able to take vacation time.


So we ended up with 5/26. Its memorial day, but people had a year and a half notice.

i love christmas time so i knew i had to get married somewhere around this time of year, even though i'm a teacher (i definitely didn't want a summer wedding!). december 8th fit the bill. it's 2 weeks after thanksgiving and 2 weeks before christmas ... the perfect excuse for a party inbetween the holidays!

We orginally wanted a June wedding...but we absolutely fell in love with our hall and all the June dates were taken...so we went with my next fav month to get married which is September (also the month we met)

We wanted July... and I saw July 7, 2007 so i was like oh he cannot forget that date...not knowing it is the most popular wedding date of the year!
