Several reasons...
1. Both teachers so we need a summer wedding

2. We wanted a Sunday night due to cost

3. Oh and I did it around 'my time of the month' I didn;t want to be bloated and PMSing for the biggest day of my life!

My FH and I picked our date because it was inbetween two important dates to us. October 10 was our first date and November 17 was the day he made a commitment to me. So, we decided that November 4 would be a good in between date to get married on. Plus, it was a little cheaper then October.

I picked 'School schedule,' but there are a few reasons. I teach, so I wanted to get married in a month with a school vacation. I'm also hopeful that the weather will be nice, even though it is the 2nd week of April. And, it gives us over a year to figure out how we are going to pay for this.

Well we basically went on cost...We knew it was cheaper in the winter months but never really thought March to be winter...After looking at a couple of halls we saw there was no real difference from Feb to March...We knew we wanted a Friday night bc of minimum reasons & again $$....

Never realized 3/31/06 was the last friday before the prices sky-rocket....So we picked it...It also happens to be my FG birthday..she will be 3 at our wedding!

I always wanted WARM weather wedding so I was actually thinking July. It's funny to say that FH family basically NARROWED down the months we could get married.. (I knew we still had the last say) BUT FH wanted to be married before the summer (he just can't wait

) We were thinking April 22 - his grandparents anniversary. We looked at SO many halls and the last one we went to - WHICH we BOOKED- was the ONLY one that didn't have it!!!! They only had April Fools Day (Out of the question) or May 6. When we thought about it more we realized May would mean graduations and communions so we decided to go back and March 25 was it!! EVEN though my ENTIRE color scheme was thrown off - I'm learning to adjust. And with ALL this preparing - glad it's sooner than later!

Being future teachers...we wanted to take the opportunity to relax and get married after school was over and go on our honeymoon....and i always wanted to get married in the summer
