Why did you add sleeves to the Maggie Dress---it doesn't really make sense if you are changing to a TOTALLY sleeveless dress....

why don't you just wear the Maggie the original way (remove the sleeves)- its beautiful!! Did you order it with sleeves or is the seamstress adding them?

If she is adding them- I would just have a little jacket made so you can take it off if you want....

I'd make a bolero to wear with the new dress. Not even a full bolero - one of the very very short ones, 3/4 sleeve, since there's no way I'd take it off. Maybe in a copper or bronze silk or georgette, something soft. We added sleeves to the Maggie because I have unusually disproportionate upper arms, and there's no way I could wear something without sleeves. Every dress I found when I was shopping last year was sleeveless or had a sheer sleeve, which doesn't cut it.

Oooh..i see. I was just confused about why you were switching to sleeveless..lol.

It makes so much more sense now that I know you were planning on adding a jacket.

You should do whatever will make you happiest! You''ll look beautiful no matter what you go with- and both dresses are unique!!!

No, I don't have pics, which completely sux, since my MOH has no idea what I've been talking about through all this. My camera broke and mom left hers upstate. They're very anti-camera at the shop anyway.
