Unfortunately, thats the problem with the mets!! They always want to win, but just can never seem to be consistant and get the job done!! Unlike the yankees!! They always get the job done!!

UMMM, are you blind or have you not been seeing the score board the last couple of days. The METS are dominating everybody while the Yankees have been losing to teams like Detroit

Ok my fellow Yankee fans .. hang in there!

Right now we might not have many reasons to 'brag' about our boys, but we know they are the true champions in this town. Rest assured that we will bounce back in splendid fashion ...whereas these Mets.. .hmm, well who knows? SURE they are on a roll right now but they (and esp their fans) are jumping the gun a bit in their claim that they will be #1. You are doing well right now, but you aren't QUITE there yet!

And really none of this matters unless you continue to playing this strong by season's end... I wouldn't start getting too excited until you see if this type of consistency remains until well after the All-Star break. Entire seasons have turned around in the 2nd half, and many a team has landed flat on their arses in embarrassment and shame

Your Mets wouldn't want to burn yourselves out too soon, too fast -- now would they?

No silly, I'm not blind!! The mets are just having their yeary spurt of luck. It happens every year, they start doing really good and actually have a winning streak. But, and theres a but here, they always seem to blow it. They always manage to end their winning streak with a big loosing streak that lasts the remainder of the season!! I don
t recall them being in the playoffs every year like the YANKEES!!!!

Why do you have to do this this summer when I'm pregnant? You Mets fans are so lucky I can't play. I played softball for 13 years and was all set to play in college when I suffered a 'career' ending injury. Yankee fans kick butt for me.
