We had originally wanted October because it's our favorite time of year but then both sets of parents got in a panic and asked for more time to save money to give us the wedding we want. So we looked into April and We chose 4/19/09 because it's not on Easter weekend and it's right before the prices go up!

i am kind of obsessed with patterns in numbers, so i needed to either have a significant day, or some kind of pattern... there were no significant days that matched a weekend, so i looked for a pattern and found 04/05/09... 4+5=9 :)

Sorry to crash your boards, but I thought we were the only crazy people to pick a wedding date based on that! Ours is 5/3/08 5+3=8 Love it!

Well mine is 8/27/09, that would have been my parents 37th anniversary, plus I have vacation for those 2 weeks, so it is perfect!!!

We definitley wanted a summer wedding because summer is our favorite season. We chose the 19th of July because our anniversary is March 19th.

Well our birthdays are two weeks apart and are in the winter so we decided we would do the summer so we have something to celebrate come summer. The actual date will probably be determined by church or reception hall but i would LOVE to have a July 4th wedding!

I always wanted to have a Fall wedding....that's is how my FH and I ended up with booking for an Oct. 11, 2009 wedding!!!

I chose Apr 2, 2009 because on that day God willing my grandparents will be married for 60 years. What a better way to start a marriage.

our fav number is 5... and we both love the fall... and the 5th of sept falls on a sat.. plus i like having both numbers on either side the same... 09.05.09

we wanted a date that wasnt near any big holidays or our birthdays. we also wanted something where the weather wouldnt be hot. the past couple of years march hasnt been too bad and when we were looking at the calender FH saw the that that year march had friday the 13th so he was like that would be cool i wanted the 20th but now im happy with the wedding be on friday the 13th it will be our good luck charm

i know i def want a month thats not too hot! im thinking june or sept...he wanted halloween but my cousin is getting married 10.11.08 and his BM got married in Oct last year so i want my own month! LOL ugh

Always wanted a summer wedding but because I am taking my bar that summer I could not do it in June or July and September I would have to start work. So that's how we arrived at August 23. Also, earlier in August would be too hot so weather was a factor. And we definitely, absolutely, no-way wanted to have a wedding on labor day.

We picked Jan 2nd so everyone will recover from New Year's Eve and then get to party all over again.

It was exactly 2 years from the date of our engagement party....plus there is no holidays around it and we didnt want january or march, which left us with February!

at first we wanted the day we got engaged July 3rd - but we would have to do it in 2009 and I didn't want a 2 year engagement.....i felt that was to long for us.....FH did not want to be sweating in a tuxedo in the dead of summer - so as romantic as it sounded the day we got engaged wasn't practical for us.....

i told FH that i wanted to have EVERYTHING and still be able to afford a wedding so we went straight for the winter months - and that is when i fell in love with the idea of a Christmas Wedding. We wanted a Friday or Satuday - Saturday was not available at the hall we wanted (and it was more money anway) so we picked the first Friday in December - December 5, 2008.....I can't wait!

i was thinking to have it on june 7th 09 since we got engaged june 8 th this year (june 8 is a monday in 09) so thats 1 option
i wanted to have it jan 10th (when we offically became a couple) or dec 15th (our first date) but the weather isnt ideal esp since we have ppl driving from distance

we were going to do it september of 2009 but the timing w/the hall & church was cutting it close & early.... so i originally wanted a november wedding so we switched the date a few weeks after we signed the original contract.

I Really wanted the date we got engaged but it fell in the middle of the week which stunk..we got engaged at 8:15pm..so 8/15/08 was perfect!
