Carlyle on the Green HELP!! Need thoughts/reviews

Hi I looked at carlyle on the green the other day and really fell in love with it and the girl we met with alyse. Has anyone been to or had their wedding there?!?! can anyone share pictures or reviews??

also im taking a poll: if i had my wedding there which do you think would be better: winter wedding or aug/sept wedding??

my friend had her wedding there in August & it was beautiful... most of cocktail hour was outside, the weather was beautiful, the pictures came out great on the gold course and it was just great! I vote for August!

Myy sister had her wedding there two years ago in July and it was awesome! The place is beautiful and the food was rally good. Only bad thing was my dad special ordered a bottle of 300 dollar scotch for a few select family members and friends to toast my deceased grandmother (weird I know but they are scotch buffs) anyway they got one small toast for like 7 people and then the bar tender dropped the bottle! Also the bridal party attendent guy was kind of pushy and he was apparently really nasty to the photographer and DJ. But no one really noticed we only heard from the photographer(really nice guy) after the fact! I didn't really notice the BP attendent being that bad so it doesn't matter much plus my sister had her own attendent who was super nice! Anyway it is a gorgeous venue and i would do August or September so you can enjoy the outside!

I'm getting married there in Sept and am also working with Elyse.

I have a good amount of pics in my album. I'll try to post them.

I took these pics before they did some of the renovations. So this doesn't show the full mirror in the foyer or the outside area with gazebo.

went to a wedding there about 4 years ago... but it was beautiful!!!!! everything was great.. staff was so nice and always there when you needed a drink lol.. i fell in love with that place the minute i saw it...

I've been to a wedding there and it was very nice. I specifically remember eating some wild mushroom rice dish that was delish :) I think the month should depend on your guests...I live in Queens and going there was a bit of a hike for me. In the winter you may have to watch out for snow storms. In my opinion, I like September/October there bc of all the trees located around it. nice fall foliage

I was there last August for a wedding.. My friend got married there & we were in the bridal party... The cocktail room was a little small but she had 400 people so that's why.. The food was AMAZING! and the staff was great too!

Definetly recommend it!
