NWR: 50-Cent in Rocky Point????

Totally NWR, but has anyone heard that 50-Cent is buying or bought a house in Rocky Point? I live there, it seems so random to me, of all places on LI, it's sooo random. But FH said 2 different people brought it up today. Anyone hear this??

YES! Very random. My friend has a house in Rocky Point and it's around the corner from them supposedly. Her FH and some friends drove by it the other day. No sign of him though. Doesn't he also have a house in Connecticut? That would make a little more sense if he boated back and forth???

I don't know about the place in Connecticut, but I still really can't believe this, it is soooo random to me. I mean, I love Rocky Point, but there are fancier towns nearby that you would think he would be more interested in, no? This is just sooo random to me. Of all the places on LI...

I think his place in CT is in Litchfield ... another random town. He probably wants some privacy. I think a lot of these celebrities have their showy places in the Hamptons, Manhattan, etc ... but have other homes in more private towns. I heard Rene Zelweger has a place in northeaster CT in the middle of nowhere.

there's some fancy custom car place on Grundy Ave in Holbrook (right by the Vets Hwy intersection) that's he's been rumored to own. It opened about 3-5 yrs or so ago, i think.

Just so strange...you wonder if he actually stays here or other people/friends do...I mean, what would he actually do in Rocky Point? It's a hike to the city, and not THAT close to the Hamptons. I hadn't heard that about the car place, but that would make some sense then.

North Shore, west of Port Jefferson (the town is actually between Mt. Sinai and Shoreham, if that helps). It's pretty quiet and low-key compared to the rest of the Island.

supposably he has a long tiime child hood friend that lives in Miller Place or Mt Siani... his road is right off of 25A, on the north side... im forgetting the name of the road... it is more on the west side of RP... if you drive down there you will see the house being built and apparantly it isnt even on the water...

Thats so funny that you ask that, bc FH and I drove by the house 2 weeks ago, it is a very random spot, but who knows who will actually be staying out there, I would love to see him around there, althoug I doubt we would run into him at the waldbaums or anything

I am from Miller Place and one of my realtors sold a house to Yayoo. I think that is how you spell it. He moved in a month or so ago to Miller Place. People have seen him around town.

I did not hear about 50 cent.

We drove by where we think the house is, and IT IS HUGE and still under construction. Definitely the largest in the very nice area by far. And the neighbor's house if for sale- makes you wonder!!! Yes, definitely a VERY random spot (really nice area, but still random!)
