NWR: Milleridge Inn - Baby Shower

I'm in the process of trying to find a place to have my sister's (my MOH) baby shower in May or June. I checked out the Milleridge for my wedding and it was my second choice so I'm thinking of it for my sister's shower. Has anyone ever been to a shower there? Also, does anyone know what they charge per person for a bruch or lunch?

Re: NWR: Milleridge Inn - Baby Shower

My FSIL's shower was there. It was really nice. It was in the main restaurant upstairs. I think it was about 40 people, definitely enough room.

Also check out the Main Maid Inn - right around the block from Milleridge. I had my sisters shower there and it was also nice

I went to a surprise birthday party there. It was great. The food was excellent. We were in this room that had a dome. It was very nice. It probably wasn't too expensive, but i am not sure of the price.

Re: NWR: Milleridge Inn - Baby Shower

Half the guests are coming from Queens and half from CT - do you think LI is a central location. I'm thinking it is but what do you think?

Re: NWR: Milleridge Inn - Baby Shower

My friend had a similar scenario, half the guests came from Rockland and half from nassau. We had her shower at Donovan's in Bayside. Maybe you can look into having it in queens?

Milleredge and Main Maid are both off the LIE, so that wouldnt be hard to get to if they had to travel.

Donovan's was off of northern blvd near the cross island.

I have gone to alot of showers as you can tell...finally its my turn

Where in CT are they coming from? LI should be ok. I had my RD at the Milleridge and it was great. We had a private room. The food was good. Although OOT family from CT stayed overnight, I don't think the trip was too bad.

Re: NWR: Milleridge Inn - Baby Shower

I would say that would be a great place...and depending on the amount of people you would invite - maybe you can have it in the carriage house. Also check out George Washington Manor - I was there for a bridal shower last year and there was a baby shower going on too. I also went to a bridal shower at Papa Razzi on Jericho Tpke in I think it's Westbury. They have a nice area for showers and the food is delish!
