Should I wax my eyebrows before makeup trial?

My eyebrows don't look awful, but they could be better. Should I have them done before my trial tomorrow? I want to get the full effect of the makeup and I don't think the makeup artist is going to start plucking away, right? Thanks!

Since they are not bad now, I would just pluck the strays and skip the waxing. My eyes get pretty red and a little puffy for a few hours afterward.

With foundation and powder I think you will have the full impact of the trial.

as someone that used to do make up for weddings, etc. YES. wax them. even if they arent bad. you have no idea what a difference it makes

I would get them done... I always feel like after I get my eyebrows waxed... my eyes seem to look so much bigger.. they stand out more... so I would go for the full effect...

Are you getting your trial done at a salon? If so, I would call and ask about having it done there as part of the trial..

I say this cause the first time I got my brows done was at my make-up trial for the prom, before that I never even thought to do it- it was before the big brow craze. I won't say how long ago that was... But, I have been hooked ever since.

If the salon won't do it- find another place to do it-- having your brows done really makes a difference.

I'm just going to a makeup studio, so I don't think she does waxing. I have a place I usually go to, but I got tired after running around all day and didn't feel like rushing over there. I think I'll go early in the mornning and hopefully the redness will go away by the time I have the trial.

Well your skin could still be pink or red depending on how sensitive your skin is. So if you don't mind that interfering w/ how your makeup will look after it is done than ok, But if your planning to photograph yourself than maybe not. I would get them waxed at least 1-2 days before. I mean you may not be red or pink at all, so it depends. or you can just tweeze. I know when mine are waxed and shaped it looks much better.

I don't think you need to do it for the trial! Actually at my 2nd trial, I had JN do my eyebrows (it was also the Wednesday before my wedding).

I've never done my eyebrows before, but I want them shaped for my wedding, so I'm definately going to get them done before my trial, so I get the full effect

I LOVE getting my eyebrows waxed. My lady shapes them so well, and I feel so groomed and clean!

YES! I had a trial and the makeup professional told me to start getting my eyebrows done starting a few months before the wedding......so I guess mine were bad.
It is easier for them to highlight the area under the brow if they are well groomed.
