Any ideas on how to remove wax from a teddy bear?

Any ideas on how to remove wax from a teddy bear?

Ugh! Last night my 4 wick candle overflowed and spilled all over my Vermont Teddy Bear. I left the bear outside to chill the wax and was able to remove the larger parts of wax, but there is still a good amount stuck to its fur. Any suggestions???

comb it? put it in the freezer?

put a paper toel over the wax on the teddy bear, then use your iron on the paper towel over the wax...the wax will stick to the paper towel and come off...VOILA!

I had to do this on my carpet!

Thanks..the wax is red...the bear is brown...do you think it will leave a stain if i remelt it??
