I did not choose either designer, but Kleinfelds had a ton of both of there dresses. I tired at least 3 of each this past weekend.

Funny, we are both getting married at the Carltun (which I love) and both joined in 3/05. How was your Kleinfeld's experience? Do they have a lot of gowns?? Do they let you try a lot? or is there a limit of 3?

That is funny! When did you get engaged? I love the carltun also. I don't think there are too many of us though. We should 'keep in touch'. Anyway, I had a great experience at Kleinfelds even though I know some people who thought they were rude there. My saleslady was VERY helpful and just kept bringing more dresses based on what I liked. I was there for 3+ hours on a Saturday when it was packed and I still got great service. By the end of it I had 'the dress'.

I was told there was a time limit on the phone, but they did not enforce it at all when I went. I guess it depends on who you get as a slaesperson?

They are moving in July. They didn't tell me an exact date but should be somewhere around the weekend of the 16th. The new location will be somewhere in the 20's around 6th ave. I think.

Not a Reem or Kenneth Pool bride but I did try on a few Reem gowns and 3 or 4 Kenneth Pool gowns (along with a few Amsale gowns) at Saks in Manhattan.
I LOVE Reem gowns and recognized one on sight on that show 'Whose Wedding is it Anyway' which aired last night. FI was amazed that I was right when they mentioned the designers name. Reem's gowns are amazing but

Thank you!!! Hope I can afford the dresses!!! My sis-in-law who got married a week ago, wore a Reem Acra 'Adored', which is gorgeous, but it was $5K

All the Kenneth Pools I tried on were $6,200 the Reem were around $5,000-$5,500. They told me some had a 10% discount so always ask.

Re: Any 'Reem Acra' or 'Kenneth Pool' brides???
Hi-I have a Kenneth Poole Dress. Sadly I have no picture to share with you and the one picture that was on the website was taken off months ago but it was a terrible shot anway.
I got it at Wedding Salon of Manhasset. I was actually first in love with an Amsale dress w/ this champagne colored sash- but it was from her Blue Label collection and a bit too pricey - 6K.
I got a bit of a deal on the KP dress since he happened to be having a trunk show the day I went. But it was still a good chunk of change.
Sorry for the lack of pictures. For some reason I can never find it online.
