I have it and to be honest, they are not raised enough off the plate to really seem like they will get damaged. Not to mention, I would not put china in the dishwasher, so there's even less chance of wear.

Re: Anyone have Lenox Fine China....Pearl or Opal Innocence...

We registered for Opal Innocence. I think the dishes will be fine, it all depends on how you wash them. If I decide to put them in the dishwasher I'll use the fine china cycle.

Re: Anyone have Lenox Fine China....Pearl or Opal Innocence...

I registered for the Opal Innocence.

I LOVE THIS PATTERN! I don't think they'll come off at all.

I do, however, caution anyone buying this pattern of one thing:

This is a very popular design and b/c of the demand we feel it is being produced too quickly and they are sending out really pieces of crap.

We went through our dishes so many times and found so many flaws --- some dishes had those little dots that were more like BLOBS...a cup had a crack on the inside, the platinum wasn't placed correctly - and was thick in some area and thin in others, or it was smeared, uneven, not meeting between sections correctly....

A total nightmare. We wrote a letter to Lenox.
Finally we got so fed up and just returned 18 pieces and are waiting for them to come back from the manufacturer.

Re: Anyone have Lenox Fine China....Pearl or Opal Innocence...

I have Pearl Innocence! Those rasied dots will NOT come off!

My mom has a Lenox pattern Autumn, and she's ahd it for over 30 years..it has raised fruit designs on the border and right in the middle. None of them have ever chipped, cracked or come off...our only concern with them was that we tried not to cut witha knife right on them, because they're in the center of the plate..but nope, they won't come off!\

ETA: Thanks for the tip..I am going to go double check EVERY piece!

Re: Anyone have Lenox Fine China....Pearl or Opal Innocence...

Yeah a whole new batch .

We went through so many of those dishes we started getting double vision after awhile from looking at those dots LOL

Yeah, definitely, if you're going w/ lenox for something this detailed, I would definitely definitely go over every single peice -- three times even b/c we missed HUGE flaws the first two times.

I'm hoping eventually we'll have a complete not defective set LOL

also: MAJOR ADVICE: if you get sets or immediately after your shower - go through them RIGHT AWAY if possible...don't put them in storage and then go through it later.

Get it out of the way and done with.

Re: Anyone have Lenox Fine China....Pearl or Opal Innocence...

I have Opal Innocence and I LOVE IT SOOOOOO MUCH!

When you do receive your pieces - inspect EVERY piece (no matter what China/Stemware, etc. pattern you have -- this can happen to any pattern, any company) These items are not cheap and you want them to last a lifetime.

Honest I had only 3 pieces with flaws (one dinner plate had a crack, 1 piece the pattern wasn't even and the other some dots where chipped) and I returned and asked for replacements and Fortunoff's (where my mom got it from) changed them without any problems (of course I examined immediately as I received them).

Edited to add:
I don't the dots will come off easily (only if you handle them ruff and I wouldn't put them in the dishwasher. I washed them warm water and very little/almost no hard soap.

Re: Anyone have Lenox Fine China....Pearl or Opal Innocence...

Thanks for the advice! We went to Fortunoff last week....my FI and I both liked the Pearl Innocence!! Now he decides he might not like it because he is worried about the accent dot things!

I just love that there is so much that goes with it..and you can't go wrong with LENOX!

the dots won't come off! my mom's pattern, autumn has been around since 1918...so they must be doing something right with those dots.
