How big are your flower girl baskets and ring pillows?
We received both in the mail today. The flower girl baskets look really tiny to me for some reason.???????
My FH said you have to remember the flower girls are small and to us the baskets look tiny but to them they are perfect size...
but IDK ?????
The flower girls baskets measures: 8.5' tall x 5' wide. Opening measures 3.75' x 1.75' deep.

I think ours are going to be small - my flower girls are only 3 and my cousin (the mother) said to try to get light weight baskets, they get heavy for the little ones.

Re: How big are your flower girl baskets and ring pillows?
I just ordered mine today from the florist, and they looked super small - almost like toys or favors, i think this is ok. Trust me, they are going to hold them for only a few minutes and unless you have a very big 12 year old flower girl, the little ones have tiny hands. If you're really not diggin' 'em send them back
I don't mean this to sound nasty, but I think we can't get caught up with little details. I know what you mean where you're unsure about them, etc. I've been doubting a lot, and I mean, A LOT of things so I know how you feel. I just think we need to complete one task and move on t the next. I think

I have two different sizes actually. My niece who will be almost 6 at the time of the wedding has the larger of the two sizes. My almost 5 (at the wedding) twin cousins will have the smaller of the two. Pics are in my album.

Re: How big are your flower girl baskets and ring pillows?
I had originally ordered baskets and they seemed very small to me, too...and my flower girls are older in age (8, 7, & 6), so I know they'd look small when they held them. The problem wasn't just the depth of the baskets but also the diameter...the older girls hands probably wouldn't fit inside to pull ou the flowers! So, i got new ones with a wider opening that look more age appropriate for my FGs...and I'm happy I did because I could just imagine their disappointment if they couldn't reach in to pull out the flowers.

I was just asking a question. Thats what this board is all about. I am going to make my desision but I wanted to see other girls opinions. Thanks. I know your not trying to sound nasty and either am I.
All day ppl ask about working on invites, dress color, flower baskets and even the smallest thing like what color M&M to put in a jar. Thats why I love this site every question and answer is helpful.. To me its not the smallest thing, its my wedding so trying to make it the best I can. I am not going to loose sleep over the baskets but just wanted opinions. Thats all....

That sounds like a very good idea.. Maybe it is the opening that is throwing me off. On ours the opening is very tiny i feel. So the wider opening would be more appropriate...
