My Church will not allow my flower girl to throw flowers..

when she walks down the aisle...they say it's for saftey reasons.

I guess I'll just have her walk down with an emtpy basket - how depressing

dont get upset...my church has the same rules

we are planning on giving my flower girl a basket of roses or other flowers and she can hand them out as she walks down the aisle....as i imagine it, it wil be adorable!

You can do the handing out flowers thing and/or you can have them carry the flower 'balls' they look beautiful! There's options...cheer up!

the handing out flowers is cute, but might be more confusing for her, or time consuming..also the pommander is SO cute! I think that's what I'm going to have my FG carry. If I have one, she'll only be 2 for the wedding, we'll be lucky if we get her to walk down the aisle!

That is sad! I don't understand why churches make rules like that! First they charge alot of money than they make rules about you being there! No petals, no flashes on cameras, no pictures, no bubbles, etc! This makes me not feel so bad that FH and I are having our ceremony on the vineyard!

my church doesn't either... they say its becasue the real ones smush into the carpet or something like that... but they let us use silk flower petals.... find out if your church will let you do that... they sell them at AC Moore, etc.... and they are cheap, too!

Mine wont either so my FG baskets will be filled with flowers and with a pouch of rose petals attatched to the baskets and Im going to have them through them at the time for pictures and have a picture of them throwing the petals at us. ( at a different location of course not the church) most likely my reception hall outside.
