I don't know a lot of people who are getting married there and I would love to be touch with other OFC brides!!

What hotel are you staying in? We're between Danfords and the Hyatt. Did you book Hair and Makeup yet? I'm working on these now..

We're most likely leaving the dance floor where it is supposed to be. A 2010 bride put the dance floor in the middle and posted pictures. Did you see them??? If not, I can see if I can find them so you can see what it looks like.

We blocked off rooms at the Hyatt. Danford's was too expensive for us so the Hyatt was much more affordable. There's a website where hotels bid for your block of rooms and you can decline and do counter offers based on the other offers you get (the hotels can see the other offers you got so they know if they are price matching or not). That's what we did - we declined the Hyatt's original quote and requested the price of the lowest quote we received and the Hyatt ended up price matching the quote we got from the Holiday Inn. I forget the name of the website but I'll look it up and let you know.

I booked hair and makeup already with Cloe Vitale of High Style Bridal Makeup. She is a bit pricey but she has worked with celebs and has done lots of magazine work. I loved my trial with her and def think she is worth the money!!

We felt the same same about Danfords, we booked a suite at the Hyatt but haven't done the room block at the Hyatt yet. We're not sure how many rooms we're going to need. I would love to know the web site if you can find it!! What are your colors? Are you having your ceremony there?

We booked a suite at the Hyatt too...and we ended up blocking off 25 rooms so far. The website where hotels bid for your block is HotelPlanner.com. Don't be afraid to decline bids....just make your re-bid reasonable. I just took the lowest quote I had received from the site and used that to negotiate with the Hyatt. Also, the Hyatt was able to see all the other bids that I received. It took them a few days to offer a new bid, so I thought they were going to decline, but they didn't!!

My colors are deep purple and lightish pink. We're having all high cherry blossom centerpieces (I have a pic of my sample in my album). I can't wait to see what it will look like at OFC, with the high ceiling. What are your colors?? Are you having a theme at all?

We are getting married at my church so we aren't having the ceremony at OFC. I kinda wish we were though because it would be beautiful to get married right on the water. Butttt...my mom would kill me if I didn't get married in the church..haha. Are you having your ceremony at OFC???

I like the dance floor in the middle! I am not sure where they have the music, I wonder if it's by the fireplace. We're having a band and I really want the dance floor it in the middle but I don't know if it will be enough room!

We're hoping to have between 120-130 people! We're probably inviting around 140

i dont know if we are gonna put the dance floor in the middle but i think we are gonna do a some what small aisle in the middle between the tables bec we are sitting in front of the fireplace and then we can see the dance floor and everyone.. plus i wouldnt know who to put in that back area if there were tables..

we are making our max 150 but hopefully less come hahha

I want to do Coral and Ivory with a touch of yellow, but when we went to OFC for the tasting, I saw their linens and they don't have coral

Kim said she could look into other linens but I never followed up with it. Are you doing the ceremony at OFC?

We don't have any booked for flowers yet, that's the next thing I'm starting to work on. I will gladly take any suggestions you have!

i think we are just gonna keep the same linen that they have... im not big into changing linens or picking colors for that haha..

noo we arent doing the ceremony there we are at a church..

If you're planning to sit by the fireplace, are you putting the DJ/Band by the windows in the back?

Do you have a hair or makeup person yet? I am trying to get both of these done soon!

yea are gonna put the dj in the back by the windows prob at an angle back there..

i dont know who im using for makeup and hair yet im trying to figure that out... i might use my cousin for my hair but then i wouldnt have anyone to do the BM bec she is also a BM so that might be a little hard.

Are you doing high or low centerpieces? I think I'm going to do low because it seems like from all the pictures that's what everyone does.

Also before we booked I became obsessed with finding other wedding pictures from OFC so I have about 10-15 links with people's wedding pictures. FM me if your interested.

I also have a great photographer, I really wanted to pick someone who has already shot at OFC and was familiar with the venue. Let me know if you need a recommendation.
