Is anyone's FH a JR? If so, did you put the suffix on the marriage license application??

So fh is a Jr. He uses it on his NYSDL and other things....just wanted to know-do you put that on the marriage license app?

I dont want the marriage license to say my new last name with 'jr' on it. Confused...help anyone?

Hi. FH is not but I do believe you are supposed to put the Jr. But there is a seperate space for you to put your last name after marriage which is where you wouldnt include the 'jr'. I could be wrong though but Im pretty sure this is what my cousin did with her hubby,

Thanks Jenny I'm going to put the jr in the application now.

Im making probably the worst mistake on friday-going to the courthouse in the afternoon to get it. Wish me luck!!! Hope it isnt packed!!!

My FH is a Jr. and we were told to put it on the marriage license so I would ask when you go...
