Winter Wedding Venues Nassau County

Hi I just got engaged on December 22nd. I am planning a winter wedding in Long Island around February or March 2014 and want to do it on a Sat or Sunday evening for about $90 or less per person. I am having the ceremony elsewhere and about 200 guests. I prefer Nassau County locations as we are coming from Brooklyn. Anyone know of any places! I would appreciate any help for any other brides who are getting married around the same time or who did this time last year. Thanks!

Some Places I am thinking are:

1.) Fox Hollow
2.) Chateu Briand
3.) Westbury Manor
4.) Crest Hollow Country Club
5.(Leonard's
6.) Swan Club
7.) Floral Terrace
8.) Jericho Terrace
9.) Woodlands on the Green
10.) Woodbury Country Club
11.) North Ritz Club
12.) Carlyle on The Green
13.) Verdi's of Westbury
14.) Russo's on the Bay (Howard's Beach)

Any one heard of quotes for any of these places for early 2014? Thanks!!

I am getting married at Floral Terrace on a Saturday night in March and while we are paying more than $90 a person, we got a phenominal deal. I definitely recommend going there, if you're willing to do it in the earlier months you can probably get something around that price range. I met with Frank and he was really willing to work with our budget.

Stewart Manor Country Club offers great package deals on winter weddings and would definitely fall around that price range, possibly less.

Good luck!!

We are getting married in January at Westbury Manor. We are paying way lower than $90! We are having a day wedding on a Saturday.

Best of luck!

I can tell you the prices for CHCC are DRASTICALLY cheaper in Jan/Feb. I almost considered changing my date for the price change (About $25 cheaper per person.) We are paying 87++ per person in Novemer...so you can imagine what CHCC would be in the cheaper months! Not to mention it is beautiful!

Sundays will def be cheaper then Saturdays and Days are much cheaper then night weddings so see where you are willing to compromise. Try to get a Sunday with a holiday the next day like MLK day or Presidents day.

Swan Club is DEF in that price range that time of year, they were so tempting because they were very negotiable and the woman we met with was so sweet.

CB will prob be right around your price range for February

Jericho Terrace will prob be around 80-85++ for Jan-March, I don't know if their prices went up from last year

Russos for January Friday night was over a hundred without the ++

I Loved Floral Terrace, we also met with Frank. If we hadn't went to Sand Castle right after and fell in love there we probably would have wound up booking at Floral Terrace. They will work with you and you should be able to get it into your budget.

Good Luck!!!

We are paying around that for a Saturday evening wedding at Fox Hollow in March but our guest list is much smaller - raising the minimum number of guests may lower the price to the point you are looking for. If you are really interested in Fox Hollow, I would contact them immediately as we were told that we booked the last available Saturday evening in March - that may have very well been part of their sales pitch though, I'd be interested to know what they tell you! Be advised, if you do visit - they are quintessential salesmen but all in all, the price was good, and it was the 'look' we were going for so we got over the fact that we momentarily felt like we were shopping for a used car. Good luck to you!

Haha, didn't realize how old the original post was... sorry!

These are the quotes we got for a Saturday night in Jan. 2014, NO negotiations attempted because we already knew where we were going to book, so I'm sure they're negotiable:

Fox Hollow: $89++ for the Somerley room
Carlyle on the Green: $130++
Venetian Yacht Club: $85++

I don't really have any winter quotes, but I second Westbury Manor. Also check out Fox Hollow they had reasonable winter prices. I'll FM them to you.

The Milleridge Cottage is famous for their winter decorations- and their 'high season' is actually in the winter rather than in the summer/fall- you should check them out!
