Jenn First off you know how I feel about that comment already that was said

Secondly - speaking from a friend and a guest at her wedding I DID NOT notice that the bustle was messed up at all

She looked breathtaking. She could wear a paper bag and still look good

I do have things that are hard for me to let go that went wrong too like Jenn.

- I never got a wake up call from the Inn and we slept in till almost 11am with my hair dresser and photographer waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes! This backed up the entire day , we were running late!

-During the CM the minister forgot to call up our parents during the unity candle lighting.

- The Porta potties I rented were not the platinum upgrade (more
) and placed in the field behind my tent blocking the pretty view. They were supposed to be behind the barn.

-My two BM really weren't getting along so argued about how to bustle my dress - so it ended up wrong as well so one stormed off and a friend had to step in to help, the difference was minimal.

-ONE OF THE WORST THINGS - my DOC had to rearrange my tables b/c the DJ decided he wanted to be in a certain place, so the one of the head tables with my family (DAD -parents are divorced) was seated in the back and not next to us!!!!! By time I noticed it everyone was seated already


-My cake topper was stolen by the staff at my place (was also ) the place would not take responsibility for replacing it


oh and to top it off..

The cops came 3 X TO shut down my wedding b/c of noise factor. Even though we were in the time frame of the town ordinance the neighbor kept calling (apparently neighbors have say regardless)


If I didn't have as many cops, detectives and a captain at my wedding it would have been over at 9pm!

i have to agree that i also feel that sometimes there is an overload of photojournalistic pics and not enough standard pics.

i love my pics but i dont really have a good shot of us looking at the camera- we have one but i do not like the background really... but atleast we are looking at the camera and not at eachother...

it was hard to pic something out for the parents...

The biggest thing I wish I could have changed was not have my grandma get sick and miss the wedding. She saw me in my dress, but I wish she could have been there for the ceremony.

Next, I wish we didn't have tropical storm Noel on the morning of the wedding!

I wish I didn't have my period.

I wish I hadn't had wine in the hotel bar after the wedding. It made me ill.

BUT, at the end of the day, DH and I still ended up together, the ceremony was beautiful and everyone had a blast at the reception.

All of my vendors did right by me, which was good because I was so worried about all the other stuff going on.

Looking back so many things went right, but there are always the little things that annoyed me.
The hotel really pissed me off, so I would def. not book through them again....we also paid for extra lighting and it was def. not worth what we paid, so I wouldnt do that the 2nd time around

Okay, I really am starting to feel a little better. The reason is because being a guest at your wedding, I would have never noticed one of these things!!!! You wedding was breathtaking, beautiful and very unique. Everything ran so smooth and as a guest you would have never noticed any of these things. I guess we are our own worst critics, but I really did need to get it out. As you can see, I told you months ago and it is still on my mind! And I know how you feel about that comment

Off topic, when are we getting together!!!!??? We can go out Friday or Saturday?

Thanks for sharing with me ladies. I already feel better. Not because you guys had mishaps too, but because you guys can relate to me. Sometimes it just feels good to get things out and vent!

I was in tears at your ceremony because Richie told Nicky what was going on. It was such a bitter sweet day for you and I'm still so sorry. I'm so happy she got to make it to the second wedding. In the pics she was glowing and so happy. I know this meant the world to her. You were so good to her.

Ok here is my list! But I do want to say...on my actual day..I didnt think of any of these things...it just flowed! But now I am nit-picking it apart!

Also some of these things are MINOR but just thought I'd liste them anyway. #1 and #2 are my biggest regrets.

1- The cake was so ugly and I should have said something right away. Well it looked OK but the leaved were floresent green and there were red airbrush makrs on the cake near the roses. It tasted fabulous. And none of my friends said they noticed the ugliness thank god

2 - Not starting dancing right away. The matire d' said they needed to take dinner orders right after our first dance and they were going to seat everyone. Then the band suggested we start dancing and well we didnt and now I wish we did! It took awhile for dancing to get under way...ugh.

3 - Not wearing a darker lipstick. I wanted to wear a darker one that showed up better because I have small lips and no one liked it. But the one I bought barely showed at all.

4 - Should have tried a long line bra with my dress...I think it would have given me better support and I just never looked into it and wore a regular bra. My dress was loose and I had to put my halter strap on...which I didnt love.

5 - Changing earrings...should have just kept the big ones on..but they were heavy!

6 - Should have bought the sparkly bracelet instead of the one I got. The one I got is nice but looks so blah.

7 - Must take pictures....forgot a list and many things (DIY) went unnoticed and unphotographed. I am going to have my photographer shoot them in her studio.

8 - Being alittle rushed in the morning and cranky and my dad was trying to hug me and I was so irritable and just wanted to leave. I didnt have time for like family lovie-ness.

9 - Leaving/losing my veil at the RH. They will not take responsibility but I know it was left behind or moved and now they dont have it. I should have said something right away but didnt call until after the honeymoon.

10 - Not getting all the sand out of my shoes before the ceremony...ouch!

It is so funny how the actual day is so smooth and carefree and then you worry about after (it almost doesn't make sense)! I do the same thing. It does feel good to get it out and vent about it.

I wish did a cake instead of cupcakes. They were not very good and I am a food freak.
I wish I had a little more of my cleavage covered...I had to nix some otherwise good photos.
I wish I had brought some back up wedge shoes, the lawn was wet, most of the guests saw me with my shoes off when they first arrived.
I wish I never put makeup on my legs, because it got all over my dress!
I wish my hubby didn't forget the pants to his suit.
Besides that...I was soooo happy!

-I wish I could have prevented DH's family from getting into a serious accident on the way to the reception...

-I wish my table centerpieces had been set up the way they were in my sample

-I wish my bouquet was bigger

-I wish I had eaten more

-I wish I had gotten more pictures around Westbury Manor

1. i wish we started on time which cause me not to go to the park and take pics as I had planned.

2. My ringpillow disappear and my mom work until 5 am the morning of the wedding.

3. I do not have any pro pics with me and the men and DH with the girls.

4. I was missing one BM B-ok.

5. I wish I did everything at the RH both ceremony and reception.

All and all My wedding was perfect!!!!

My only wish was that I should have had my photog take more pics of the exterior of DeSeversky and its grounds. I have no pics of the surroundings and it was the reason I chose the place...thank goodness one of my close friends (who also did my epics) is a great photog and offered to do a Day After shoot whenever we want

Beyond that...PERFECTION
