I see other brides pictures & think 'we should have done that.' Particularly the formal shots. We barely did any. Like none of our entire immediate families. We missed that somehow.

When I booked Blue Daisy, it was a shot in the dark. No one on this site knew of her but one bride. I was holding my breath until I got my proofs. I LOVE them and I get rave reviews but I didn't get many posed pictures at all. And I don't have ONE picture of myself alone & close up.

Yours are some of my favorite pictures that I'm always wishing I had. That's funny though that you have no pictures of just you. I guess we're all missing something that we wish we had. it actually makes me feel better that I'm not alone.

We are missing a picture of the whole bridal party together ?!?! How they missed that I'm not sure So every time I see someone's picks there it is....a picture of the whole group together ! Amazing how I dwell on this one picture when I have tons of pictures of the bridal party

i do it everytime i sign into LIWEDDINGS. but then i say to myself im glad someone else didnt get crappy proofs like i did. if only we can go back in time and get those shots we wanted

i think everyone goes through that.
i didnt get back mine yet but i think everyone wants that one shot that they loved from someone else's wedding pics..

but you just have to be happy with what you have- it all goes in an album- i mean you cant hang up nearly every great picture you have.

i have some epics that i looooooooooove but i cant hang them all up plus wedding pics b/c than my whole house will be a shrine to me and dh and that's just weird.

we all have high expectations for our photos and video, its only natural...

All the time. I think my photographer missed so many shots. I had about 800 proofs and had to pick 80 for the album and I could only pick 70 pics that I really loved. Some of the photos are just posed weird one has me in the center facing one of the bridemaids and Dh behind me. It looks like I am marrying my BM

Yeah I got that warning from another past bride. To not book someone TOO photojournalistic because you wont get any good 'portrait' style pics to hang up. As it is, we have WAY too many of us walking away from the camera 'looking in love' and not a ton of portrait pics to pick from.

I can't wait to be able to join in on this discussion. Duet said that they mailed out my proofs today so hopefully I'll see them soon!

totally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! although i lovvvvvvvvvvve my proofs there were photos that we initially wanted and asked for that were not taken which bothered us and sometimes when i see other's photos im reminded of those shots oh well no biggie u just have to think u still have awesome shots!

OMG I think that all the time! Even though I still love looking at everyone's wedding pics, there are times that I just can't because I know it will make me sad!
And don't get me wrong, we have a ton of gorgeous proofs. But there will always be pics that were missed, or poses that I wish we had done.
It makes me feel a lot better to know that so many brides on here feel that way
