Well, its done! I just got my hair all cut off. I intended to cut 10 inches exactly, which would have had the hair about halfway between my shoulders and chin. The stylist I went to got a bit over excited and cut off 12.5 inches. So my hair is very short now. Oh my! Well my husband thinks its adorable. I'm still getting over the shock. LOL. I'll say one thing, it feels great to have short hair, I'm going to love this for the summer!!! And I'm glad to know that some little girl with have hair thats 12.5 inches instead of just 10!

I gave over 10' of hair to Locks of Love, wow it has been almost 7 years ago.

My daughter cut her waist length hair and donated it to Locks of Love also. I think this is such a wonderful and generous act for anyone to do!! I applaud you on your selflessness.

When my niece was just 12 years old she read about this & cut her hair that had been only trimmed since she was a young girl. she gave the 22 inches of hair!! It made me very proud!!

My sister also has done it.
