what about a portable washing machine and hang dry or if possible, see about a small dryer. Landrymats are expensive

it also depends on the place. Many 2 family homes for example wont allow you to do this. Its messed up bc some landlords will have their own but wont allow their tenant to get a washer and dryer.

Justed wanted to throw out there.....If anyone is looking for a one bedroom apt. in Kings Park. Main floor of house, no landlord on premises close to parkways!! Please FM and I will give you more details

I would not move unless the landlord put in the washer and dryer! In my opinion, I think a washer and drier beats having an extra bedroom-that is unless you plan on expanding your family soon!
