Re: Our wedding day flew bye, but there are certain moments that stand out and I can replay in my head detail by detail,

When I was sitting in the limo, circling the church and then waiting to get out to enter the church, I remember waving to the guests who were entering and I had this big cheesy smile on my face.

When we came off the altar for the sign of peace, my niece (5 y.o.) walked right up to me and said 'Aunt D., I like your dress!'

My younger brother fluffing out my train before we walked down the aisle.

Getting home after my hair was done. I just looked at my girls getting ready and waiting for their makeup to be applied. I just started bawling Thank God my parents, aunt and DOC were there.

At the reception, a few people were there that were not invited. Just having my brother and DH assure me that everything was going to be okay made me feel much better.

ETA: Holding my dads hand on the way to the church. 'Daddy is there, and everything will be just fine.'

I will always remember vividly sitting in the limo with my Dad just before we pulled away from my house. He told me he remembered the day I was born like it was yesterday and then pulled one of the 'It's a Girl!' cigars from his pocket that he handed handed out 29 years ago He had it in his pocket for the whole day.

I'm crying here...that's so beautiful

So many special moments I remember...but when they announced that the brides grandfather had a surprise for the bride and groom and then bagpipers started walking into the room playing, i lost it. I had always wanted them and he booked them for our day.

When they placed the irish hat on my italian husband and had us dance, it was classic. I couldn't stop laughing. (the pic in my avatar)
