We booked at trip. The tickets are the PAPER gift! We are going to San Diego, LA, and Vegas.

We went to Aruba a few weeks after our anniversary.
On our anniversary, I gave him a Movado watch that he wanted, and my gift was skydiving & dinner

We are debating about doing gifts this year. My parents got us an overnight stay at Danfords to celebrate our one year anniversary. I am really looking forward to being there again, since the wedding went by so fast. We will spend the day out East and then dinner and the night at Danfords. And the package includes tickets to the local theater production of Pipin.

My husband's leave falls (conveniently) right over our anniversary, and we're going to try to take a vacation/finish-our-honeymoon during that time - Ireland for a week to see my family and then maybe back to Malta, maybe Egypt, maybe the Virgin Islands - there's so many places I want to see!

The e-ticket printout counts as paper, right?!

we're getting 'family' stationary-nice stationary with our monogram or last intial. we're also going on trip toward the end of the year-but that is less anniversary and more about getting away before DH goes on his deployment (if he gets leave.)

Since the first anniversary is 'paper' we bought tickets to a broadway show and DH gave me a dozen paper roses.. they are definitely the best dozen roses he ever gave me - I still have them on display and my cat doesn't try to eat them!

We both went away but I wanted to still give him something. The say you should give 'paper' for your first anniversary so I bought him concert tickets.

Still trying to figure it out---we joked about it today since our anniversary and my bday are a month apart---but we are going to COsta Rica for 10 days for our first anniversary!
