Re: RE: Constant borrage of 'When are you getting pregnant?'
we've gotten the opposite from some friends. They tell us to wait and enjoy married life. WTH? We'll have kids when we feel like it. Also this is coming from couples who didn't live together before marriage. We lived together almost 2 years before we got married, so we've had a good amount of alone time already. Butt out!!

Re: RE: Constant borrage of 'When are you getting pregnant?'
I'm sorry all of you have to go through this as I think it is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!!!! Thankfully I really don't get asked it at all. The closest I have gotten is 'Are you going to have children?' and that is usually just in conversations with people I am not close with or hatrdly even know if the fact that I am newlywed comes up. But I am not as bothered by it because I am NOT TTC and will not be.

Re: RE: Constant borrage of 'When are you getting pregnant?'
I personally think that many people who ask us or others on this thread are probably looking for something to talk about. The same thing i found when me and DH were getting married or finding a house...it was what people talked to me about...even people i was not close to. Even when i started seriously dating DH if i went out by myself everyone would be like where is your DH...like i can't go out by myself.I find it kind of rude now just because i realize now how many people have issues getting preggo. I think a lot of people don't realize it. If they did they would never ask you....
It does not bother me or DH...i now make jokes about it. The other day my boss called me in and was all stressed out about someone retiring in our dept (he is always saying so when is the baby coming, let me know early) and i said so right now is not a good time to tell you i am 4 months preggo huh? His face almost fell to the floor...i was like calm down it was a joke. Now i don't hear anymore questions....

I am tired of hearing it too. My boss and my assistant are both pregnant and they say that everything comes in threes(SO I HEAR OVER AND OVER AGAIN). I am just tired of people saying that its now my turn. I am happy , enjoying being married.

I am so with you! Some people bring it up all the time others don't (like my mom - she's not eager to be a grandma yet!)We are planning an in-law visit soon (they live in FL) and I know it will come up!
Can't people let me finish grad school (in 2 1/2 years) and buy a house!
