I think its disgusting.

We had another relative give a very stingy gift....and I mean STINGY.

I'm not sure which is worse....stingy, or nothing.

I would have to say the stingy is worse b/c the person has money........

At first it was like 10, but then people started to mail us a gift. In the end I think like 5 or 6 didn't give is one.

3, 1 couple, and 2 singles, but we knew about the couple and one of the single guests b/c they traveled and we knew their money situation. Where as one came and nothing, not even a card. That makes me nutso

2 people ... my uncle (who is also my godfather) and my cousin (whose 2 weddings i went to bearing gifts!)

i can understand no gift since they both came from out of town, but not even a card bugs me!

2 people I used to work with (1 traveled across the country so I really didn't expect one).
another friend who brought a date, and totally partied it up.
My husbands cousin gave us a $1 dollar bill, which I found so annoying. I know he's tight on funds, and his parents were really good to us during the planning, but I still just found it really obnoxious.

I still don't understand why people even bother coming if they are going to do that? and no card?? ugh
One was my second cousin and his wife, who my mother invited
One was my husbands cousin ( who had just lost his job that week, didn't even give a card and also got trashed out of his mind)
One was a friend from high school.. nice friend?? she then claims that she sent something and it got mailed back to her.. ugh.. still never recieved anything.

ooo hmm...about 10; all on my dad's side which we knew would happen cause they ate and drank the most, tried to invite extra people (and we said HELL no) but they are CHEAP!!!!

one of our friends didnt give us money on our weddign day lol but he's known for that-sends gifts on your anniversary instead and is VERY VERY generous then...like double gift lol. He'sll pay off about 4 other no good guests...


We also had 2 last minute no shows-again my dad's side so we lost moola there too,

And we're not counting the 2 jerks on my MILs side who who INSISTED...called her up and everything- that their 14 yr old kid come with them and hey gave us get this...a PICTURE FRAME.....albeit a 50 dollar one LAMO (looked it up on the met museum .com which they have memberships to and get free and discounted stuff!) for the three of them..... WHAT THE HELL! for the bridal shower I got a 20 buck album from Papyrus. And before anyone thinks Ima money grubber...these are people who go on SERIOUS moola vacations 3 times a year and live in the heart of NYC..they HAVE the cash...just choose not to part with it.

I think 2 or 3 couples. My sister said that they will give us something evantually. They did give us a card though.

My godfather/uncle and his friend. My godfather walked me down the aisle. I know that he has been tight on $$$.

My cousin and his girlfriend which my uncle and aunt put their names on their card. So, I included their names on their thank you cards.

We were just happy to see everyone who attended
our wedding.

The night of the wedding we had 3 guests who forgot their gifts at home. Well, actually 2 the other one had it but just forget to give it to us.

Since the wedding we have received 2 of the 3.

The funniest part was - one of the couples was getting married later on in the year, so we just showed up at their wedding w/ nothing either! I felt better

1 couple didn't give us a gift until 5 months after the wedding and it was $100 less than we gave her for her wedding... oh well... at least it is something.
