No. Dh doesn't wear a ring and it doesn't bother me. My father never wore a ring either. And, it's not like a double standard with us because to be honest, DH was suprised that I even wanted a ring, and totally didn't expect me to wear one. He also didn't want me to take his last name (because it's pretty damn awful - 'Beer'), but I hyphenated so I'll have the same last name as my children.
