Giorgios, Tessie Reveliotis, Tommy Tunes

Venue - Giorgios A+
I enjoyed working with Giorigos and my day of was perfect. First off Dawn has got to be one of the nicest people, I cannot tell you how many times I called Giorgios with ridiculous questions and she was always really calm and cheerful. She made the planning process really easy. On the day of Melissa was my bridal attendant and she really made me feel like a princess. My husband and I never wanted for anything, she was incredibly helpful. During the cocktail hour for the last 15 minutes she brought a tasting of everything to the bridal suite and it was really great because it gave me and my husband a little time alone. She was also the one to setup my placecards, menucards, etc. and I think everything was beautifully done. George was great and threw in up lighting at the last minute. I actually didn't want uplighting because I think the chandeliers are one of Giorgio's best features, but it actually looked really good and I have a few beautiful photographs of the room with the lighting. The food was awesome, and waiters actually came around with seconds! If I had any regrets it would be that I couldn't afford the viennese hour, I bet they do an incredible job with that.

The bakery Giorgios uses is La Bonne Boulanngerie A - at first I was disappointed that I would have to stick to one of several chosen designs if I didn't want to upgrade. However the photos that the bakery showed me do not do the cakes justice. I really wasn't expecting much from my cake so I was incredibly surprised when I saw how beautiful and elegant it was.

Photography - Tessie Reveliotis A+++
I was very happy with a lot of things, but Tessie was by far my favorite vendor. From the moment I booked her to the delivery of my photos everything was smooth sailing. I love her photos, she's artistic and captures great candids. We did our engagement session at the Planting Fields, and my husband and I ran almost an hour late. Tessie was more than pleasant to work with and never complained. On the day of, we had some morning drama and I was running pretty late. She was great and took my dress, jewelry, and accessories and began photographing on her own. She did some really interesting things that I never would have thought of and I LOVE all of the pics I have. Because we were running late I was being rushed out of the house, Tessie was the one who reminded me to put earrings on, and she gently nudged everyone of the bedroom and took a few minutes to get some really great shots of just me. This was so great because I would have been HUGELY disappointed if I didn't get some photos of myself before the ceremony and it also allowed me to calm down and have fun. I was also nervous because I had a winter wedding and was not sure what kind of shots we would get, but with someone like Tessie taking the photos you really don't have to worry about the weather at all. I could seriously go on and on, I genuinely liked working with her and her assistant, and I LOVE my photos.

Ceremony Musician - Tommy Tunes - Luiano A+
I was at a bridal showcase at East Wind and heard Luinao (guitarist) and his son (cellist) playing. I loved both, and oddly enough this might have been the one moment during my entire wedding planning where I knew exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately my budget was on the lower end, so I wasn't able to afford both. Luinao was great to work with, he was helpful with song selection, and since I was out of town he even played a few things over the phone for me. I would highly recommend him.

DJ - Tommy Tunes - Dan A
Dan was very nice to work with. He read our crowd pretty well which I think is important for a DJ to be able to do. There were a few songs I wouldn't have played, but apparently my guests loved it since it got them out of their seats and had the dance floor crowded.

Hotel Indigo C
So this is a tough one. The hotel is really nice, we had the bridal suite which was a good size, nice new and modern, and overall I liked the bar area a lot. The C is because we were supposed to have free shuttles to and from Giorgios for all of my guests. It was a bit difficult to get in touch with the coordinator, but the week before the wedding I confirmed 1 65 passenger bus to and from Giorgios. The day before the wedding as my husband was checking in, he said they had the times completely wrong, and he adjusted them. On the day of my wedding while I was taking photos at Giorgios my mom told me that a guest told her that there was no large shuttle, I think it was a 15 passenger van (I had about 63 guests staying at Indigo). So on my wedding I had to call and try to re-confirm 1 65 passenger shuttle for pickup. The woman asked for a number to call me back, and I had to tell her I was at my wedding and was not going to have a cell phone on me. At around 10:30 I think 1 or 2 shuttles showed up (the reception ran until 11pm). I think my mom started directing my family to leave so the shuttle would be able drive everyone home. This was disappointing because most of my side left before the last dance. The bartenders were great, and I'm told the food was pretty good. The staff was very pleasant to work with. Even though I'm giving it a C I liked the hotel so I'm not sure that I would have changed it. I would just confirm over and over and maybe hand it in writing what you agree upon for transportation. Again the staff was very nice, and they were pretty new when I stayed there so it might have taken them a few weeks to iron out some of the details.

Holiday Inn A
I think Indigo is a nicer hotel, but I had no trouble with this hotel. I also didn't have many guests staying here so I didn't run a shuttle. Everyone was extremely pleasant to work with.
