Major issues with B A R O N S

So, I ordered my veil from B a r o n s in Levittown because everyone said how wonderful they were, and the pricing was WAY better than bridal shops.

Anyway, my initial experience was fine. I found both a veil and clip that I liked, and we placed the order with the guy. I took a photo of each, and said 'Make sure you have all of the right information on there' and he double checked.

3 months later, when it was time to pick up, my issues began. I ordered on 11/22 and picked up on 2/17 for my 3/23 wedding. I called the night before, to make sure everything was ready, and confirmed with Yana that it was. So on Thursday, I had planned to pick everything up, because based on that, I scheduled my hair trial and last fitting for the following week. I received a call from Yana on Thursday morning saying that she 'forgot my veil and clip, so please come in this weekend'... Unfortunately, I was unable to go in Fri-Sun, because I was away. And with my appointments, and her hours, there was NO WAY for me to pick it up, or anyone else available to go to Levittown. So after several attempts to even come to her house to get it, she agreed to leave it with another vendor who was open for Presidents Day on Monday. So that worked out. I went to pick up my veil from the SUPER NICE woman who was holding it for me. I took everything and looked at them in the car. MY VEIL WAS COMPLETELY WRONG. And I am not exaggerating when I say IT WAS HIDEOUS. It looked like someone used clear nail polish and threw silver clumps of sprinkles along the edges. There isnt even silver in my dress, so I would have NEVER chosen that. Good thing I had the photo to confirm. I called Yana right after I got out of there. She told me to come back in on Thursday and we would talk.

So I go back in Thursday, and ALOT of women were in there looking for veils, so I had a one-up on them. Anyway, they helped me immediately. I told her my wedding date was the 16th, so there wasnt alot of time. I had to do that for my own sanity. Anyway, she said by next Thursday I could pick up the veil. We went over the numbers and everything, and it looks like her son WROTE THE WRONG NUMBERS. Anyway, it ******, but I was getting the right one in a week. I had to use the ugly one for my hair trial, and I never bothered using it for my dress fitting.

So, I called yesterday to confirm she had my veil, and she did. So I go on on my lunch break to pick it up and ITS NOT THE RIGHT VEIL. Long story short...she apparently doesnt have time to make it, so she thought this was the closest and I would be ok with it. UM NO THANKS. It was NOT similar and it looked even worse than the other one. There was threading that instead for forming into a small loop, formed into a childish looking flower. If you could imagine, I was VERY upset. I looked through every single veil she had and found something that was plain, just so I know it would work with the dress, since I have alot of crystals.... but I am not happy. Thats NOT what I wanted, and NOT what I waited OR paid for.

B a r o n s provided HORRIBLE customer service and honestly just wanted me to take anything and go away. She only gave me $30 back too. AND THE VEIL I CHOSE WAS $15 cheaper than the original. Like SERIOUSLY!? I was just so upset, I wanted to get out of there, so I took my $30 and stupid veil and left.

Im sorry, but this was a horrible experience, and EVERYONE should know.

I'm so sorry you had to deal with all of that.....

I never liked Barons from the start..there was just something about that place that gave me a bad vibe.

Your wedding day will be wonderful, congratulations!!
