My 11/8 Flowerfield wedding review w/ pics

First a big thanks to Thonglori for posting pics -LOVE the bridesmaids gone wild pic LOL!!!!!

My wedding day was by far the most amazing day of my life - I am still smiling (and still tired LOL) from all the excitement. A special thanks to all of you LIW gals :)

Now for the review........drumroll please

Hair - Jenn from Fairytale - A++++ What else can I say about her that hasn't already been said. She is fantastic, my hair and mom's hair held all night and everyone commented on how great it looked.

Makeup - Jacqueline Nicole - A++++ She is another vendor that again, what else can be said that hasn't been said already. She is beyond fantastic and such an amazing person. I am VERY anal with my makeup and she completely blew me away. She is the only person I will ever allow to do my makeup. It stayed all day and everyone commented on how fantastic it looked.

Dresses - Paradise Bridal - A/C
I am giving them an A for their salespeople because they truly were fantastic and super nice. Everything was in super early and I had no problems there. I gave them a C because of their seamstresses - awful. I had 5 fittings!!! The dress was correct after the 5 fittings but lets just say my dress used to have a halter strap........however, it all worked out and I was happy.

Florist - Laskaris and Farrell - A++++ I loved my flowers and Anthony did such a fantastic job that I have to call him and gush about what an amazing job he did. They were everything I dreamed of and more. People commented on how gorgeous they were. I highly recommend Anthony - I loved working with him and he is so creative that you will not be disappointed.

Photo - Vinnie from Patken - A Ok, only giving Vinnie an A for now b/c I have yet to see my proofs but I have no doubt that they will be fantastic. I have to say that I don't understand why he isn't more widely used - he is such a sweetheart, extremely professional and such an amazing person to work with. Everyone commented on how fast he worked and how unobtrusive he was. He took some great shots and can't wait to see them!!!!

Limo - NY Style Limo - A
Another great vendor - I've known the owner for a few years through my job so I knew he would be great. The cars were immaculate, on time and the drivers were wonderful. They even fixed my crinoline before I went into the church!!!! Only bad thing was they were late picking up my parents which was fine by me but mom wasn't happy. However, I was extremely happy and as always they have fantastic service.

B]DJ - Montage Music - A++++
I love my DJ - great guy, great dancer and great music. Had lots of compliments and I thought he did such a great job.

Now for the best part................
Flowerfield - Honors
I am giving them honors because an A++++ does not even describe how AWESOME this place is. From the moment we arrived to the second everyone left they took care of every whim before we said it. Not only is the place incredible but the staff and the food are too. I had a guest come up to me and thank me for inviting them and another tell me that they could never go to another wedding b/c they are forever ruined b/c Flowerfield was so great!!! We arrived early so we went to the cottage which was a blast and they had food waiting for us and we took some pics outside and FROZE but it was fun. We hung there before we went to the main building and got some more pics taken. The cocktail hour was amazing - everyone said how awesome it was and then the dinner was just awesome too. Audrey's bake shop is AMAZING and did such a great job on our cake and Neil's grooms cake. Scott, the Maitre D did such a great job spacing all the meals out and keeping the party running smoothly and our bridal assistant Joette took such fantastic care of us that I honestly wanted to take her home. The staff there is top notch and Cynthia one of the managers was there also and she is just the best. The staff there is truly top notch and I cannot say enough about the place - everything and I mean everything was just incredible. So to all future Flowerfield brides you made a fantastic choice - it is truly the most amazing hall. I would book there again in a heartbeat.

So that is my review folks - I will post more pics as I get them! I'm off to relax b/c I have to go back to work tomorrow. My proofs are ready and they will be posted soon - here are some that friends and family gave me. Enjoy!

so glad that everything worked out. My fiance & I are in a wedding at flowerfield in July 2005 & 2 of my friends are servers there. I have still yet to go. Now I caanot wait. :)

Oct03 Bride- Details please. FoxHollow is one of the places that I am trying to get to see. It is so hard because my F. works weekends. Please let me know how your wedding was. I have not been there since 1996. If you dont mind my asking, was it reasonable $?

Congratulations Lori! I too have heard nothing but rave reviews about Flowerfield. I'll be doing my 11/8 East Wind review as soon as I get a chance. And yes, it was COLD that day! Can you believe how fast it came and went? I still have to get used to saying 'my husband' instead of 'my fiance.' Congrats again!

I just looked at your pics and WOW! Amazing! I love the website...did one of your vendors do that or did you? It must be fun for all your guests and family to be able to see so many of the pics and I LOVE the song, Valentine.
