Ladies I am so grateful for every one of you married women that took the time out to write a review when your time came for other brides to read and use for help and opinions. Without any of you great girls there would be no such LIW just a bunch of vendors
LIW was a great source to come to when I needed to know the in's and out's of making my wedding have that extra special something...and it was also thanks to the girls on here.
My wedding day was on September 24, 2011 and thankfully the rain held out for my outdoor ceremony.

Officiant- A+++++
Pastor Paul Swanson did an amazing job and let us personalize our wedding exactly how we wanted to. He is located in Smithtown and charges a very reasonable price.

Hair- Kristine Murillo A++++++ My hair and my BM's hair held all night and looked gorgeous as ever. She's my new go to hair stylist.

Make-up- Beauty Makeup Artistry by Arianne A++++++ someone on here recommended her to me and her prices were so much more reasonable than all the other artists listed on here. She is the only person to ever nail my make-up down pat. I've used her 2x since the wedding so far and I'm even using her again next month for a wedding i'm attending.

Bridesmaid Dresses- Bridal Suite of Bayshore A-
The dresses were Mori Lee in purple. None of my girls had any complaints, alterations were done correctly, no issues with service.


Gown and Jewelry both from Bridal Suite of Bayshore- B-

I found my gown there as a Pronovios trunk show gown and got it for an amazing price. Put the dress on fit perfectly, they took my measurements down. Fast forward to first fittings when the dress does not fit what so ever and they tell me i grew...take my measurements again and their even less than what was down on the paper the first time so something somewhere was wrong along the road. They charged me 175 dollars more to put in a corset back now since i already owned the dress. Really annoying but my dress was beautiful the day of just minor bumps and added $$$ along the way. Jewelry matched my e-ring perfectly so I had to have it...wish i would have thought twice about paying that much though for fake jewelry but either way it looked pretty.





Tuxes- Mens Wearhouse A+++ We had no problems what so ever and our guys ordered there's all over the united states. I placed the original order in Lake Grove store and they were great and the tuxes looked great.


Shoes were Nina's from DSW and the I DO stickers were DIY that i got at Michaels.


Rings- 'Ricky & CO. first booth in the Attias flea market.
Great service, great price, exactly what we wanted!


Photography- Gina Esposito A+++++++++++++ What can I say I love her! She does amazing work, its a passion not a job for her and she makes sure every woman feels and looks beautiful while taking pictures on their wedding day. I received every single picture she took on my wedding day allowing me to make the choices of what I WANTED and not allowing a photographer to do it for me. I cant thank her enough for capturing every single magical moment in my wedding. GE girls you are in great hands!

This man is a saint, he came from NJ to do my wedding and stayed all 12 hours from the very beginning of me in my hotel to the very end of guests leaving. His work speaks for itself in so many ways and he doesn't try and charge you an arm and a leg. Im so happy my DH booked him behind my back when I thought we weren't having a video.Check him out!

Florist- Perfect Rose Floral Design in East Islip A+++++++++++ Tina is beyond fabulous when it comes to taking your vision and making it a reality. She knows exactly what you want and doesn't just throw roses and 'fillers' in a vase and call it a CP...she actually makes beautiful creations that make people say 'where did you get those flowers?' (which they did ALL NIGHT!) My wedding looked like a fairy tale because of her.

Menus, Place cards, Table Numbers, Programs all done by *HER*- A+++++++ Tessa was great to work with and she did all my stationary for me even though I wasn't an invite customer. Proofs were great, final product was great all in all no complaints! I loved her work!!!



Hanger- the ever so awesome Suzie our fellow 2011 bride
A++++++ gorgeous! I ordered 2 one with my last name and the other with the wedding date. It was her first time doing a date but she nailed it and it looked great.


DJ/Steel Drum Player/ Bag Piper- All through Parties Alive A- Customer service is not so great but on the day of my wedding they delivered. Sean was an amazing DJ (you can get any DJ out of a few there and you don't know until the week of who) who even called me a few nights before to get to know each other and to learn exactly the 'feel' I was going for him I give a A++++++. The bag piper was amazing and he played near the valet while the guests were arriving and up until after they were seated. The steel drum player was also amazing and played during cocktail hour outside on the deck.



Favors- We used Afresh Approach for truffles A++++ they are so sweet there and amazing job. We did champagne and dragonberry truffles.

We also used THE COOKIE LADY for personalized cookie favors...taste amazing, look amazing A++++++ all the way. If your still looking for something definitely contact her.



Cake- Rolling Pin Bakery (included with our RH) A-
Hard to contact them since they do everything through e-mail but my cake came out amazing and that's all that matters. Also, the tasting sample cakes they give you do no justice to what their actual cakes taste like so keep that in mind when ordering. We did vanilla cake with cannoli and raspberry filling...SOOOOO GOOD!
Flowers were done by my florist


Hotel- Hyatt Regency in Hauppague A- this is where we had our room blovk, easy to work with, great price...gave me everything even tons of robes and slippers for my girls. Only complaint is there were so many wedding/party's there that the hotel was a bit chaotic.
NOW I SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST......

Smithtown LAnding Country Club A+++++++++++++++++
Everyone is absolutely right when they say Rich is phenomenal when it comes to weddings. He gives you an amazing price and then goes above and beyond to make your wedding perfect. The staff is amazing too! I've never heard so many compliments about wait staff, bartenders in my life. My MD Joe was out of this world he made sure we were treated like royalty allll night!
Everyone raved about the food it was sooo good. The cocktail over was crazzzyyy! food everywhere...stations everywhere! It was for an hour and a half! For our meals they brought us all 3 choices to have I couldn't put my fork down. I honestly want to attend a SLCC wedding every week just to eat that food again. My fellow SLCC girls i know you feel the same way and the future SLCC girls you have not a single thing to worry about. I mean it! I have not one complaint about it...not even a teeny tiny one!

Great review! I loved the color purple the girls wore. The 2 little guys were so handsome and your FG looked like a doll! Loved the glowers especially ur bouquet!! Congrats on your wedding!
