where do I even begin.. This site helped me soo much throughout the planning process I couldnt have found my ideas or gotten help from anywhere else.. I owe everything to this site


Engagement - DH and I have been together for 14 years.. I always dreamed this day would come but I patiently waited for this moment and was getting extremely ansy as my 10 year reunion was comin up and I was still not engaged, lol. We took a trip to domenican Republic and stayed at Excellence where we had the time of our lives. The first 2 days were rainy and dh originally planned on proposing the last night we were there.. but he was anxious and the 3rd day when it finally showed some sunlight he decided we should go horseback riding.. We get on the horses and had a blast .. when we approached the beach he had our guide hold the camera /video and got me off my horse and as he proposed it started to hailstrom.. I cried my eyes out and was soo excited at the same time thinkin its finally here!!! we have it on video which was so great and then me being the crazy person I am made an appointment that day to to dye my hair so went to spa and they made me from light blondish brown to red.. (this is what I do when im excited , lol)









Engagement Ring - Dh did a lot of research and we had fallen inlove with a Tacori ring we saw at good old gold.. He checked around for the best price on the setting and he wound up gettin it at mulloy jewelers which is based out of california.. They did an amazing job!! He got my diamond itself from a family jeweler.



Engagement Party - We new we wanted to do something at a park outdoors where everyone can come inlcuding out little cousins and DH could cater it himself.. We had it at Bethpage State Park and it was soo great!! The food was amazing and everyone we wanted to be there was.. the weather thank goodness was perfect!!! Heres some pics!

Save the dates – JRGART.COM - A +++++++++++++++++++++++++

We didn’t want the typical Save the date and thought we should do something fun and just like us.. I got the idea online and when I saw someone that could make it for me the right price I had to do it.. We wanted carriacture of us headed to our reception on my DH’s motorcycle.. Everyone loooved them and it came out awesome looked just like us. I got him a lot of business just from our STD’s. I highly recommend him hes fast and officiant plus super talented..




Bridal Shower – On the Border Grill - A

I was super shocked about my shower.. I thought I was goin shopping for an outfit for my bach party the following weekend and then goin to lunch with my friend.. My mom told me my shower would be in August so I had no idea it was the end of July.. I walked in and my jaq dropped.. They actually got me!!! I never thought I could be surprised.. I was soo pissed that I thre away my contacts the night before so that was a bummer.. and I hated the way I looked.. oh well , everything else was great and the Bparty and my mom did an amazing job.. It was themed around Handbags and designers.. My invites were amazing and the centerpieces were adorable!! Loooved everything.. especially my cake, oh yea and the food ofcourse.. Mexican is my FAVE!

















Wedding Bands – Turkan Jewelers flea market – A +++++++++++++++++
We looooove Mark and been getting our jewelry from him for a longtime.. I knew we would get our wedding bands there.. They were super affordable and danty. I looved my band and FH got some bling in his.. we were very happy with the custmer service..






Bach Party – AC – A+++++++++++++++++++++

We had the time of our lives.. We had an amazing suite at The Tropicana.. It was the Jersey Shore suite thanks to my bro’s mother in law.. ? The weather was perfect so we were able to lay out during the day and go to the Trump outdoor bar .. Then at night Friday we went to Harrahs pool party and Saturday night. Hunkomania- (which was insane).. best , best weekend .. The girls did an amazing job setting everything up. Hers a couple G rates ones, lol



































Rehearsal Dinner – BC Pub – A ++++++++++

We had our rehearsal dinner at DH bar to save money.. It was actually outside in the Tiki bar which Dh decorated and set up so nice with tents and everything.. He catered the whole thing and it was absolutely amazing!!! The menu was rediculous and all my friends kept saying how nice everything looked and couldn’t believe what he did with it.. Unfortuantely most of our pics were on the camera that got stolen on the honeymoon so I only have a couple to post.













Wedding day weather – C

Well just like everything else in my life.. My engagement my shower my birth.. it was raining the day of so it was only fitting. Lol. The weather in the morning was soo bad that the roads were flooded and couple vendors got stuck in the flood. I felt soo bad for them.. It wound up clearing up that night and made for a really cool sky..




Bridal Gown & Veil – Moon light Couture A

I looked everywhere for the gown I always invisioned.. except everywhere I went I just wasn’t feeling that it was the dress. I went to a place in Merrick called Moonlight Couture and the lady Maria who helped me was a pleasure to work with and helped me find a dress that I knew I can make my own.. It was discontinued and I was sad I couldn’t order it but I looved the potential of the dress so much that I got such a great discount being that it was off the rack . it was a little big on me too so I needed to get it taken in.. I wound up changing the whole top of the dress and put buttons on the back of it and got it hemmed since im a shorty.. I looved the end result and I would have rated them an A +++ but the alterations wound up costing more then my dress so that I wasn’t thrilled about..


















MOB dress – Moonlight couture –A

Mom got her dress the same day I got mine.. It was the first dress she tried on and we looved it.. We also got a great rate on it since it was a sample and fit her perfectly ?









Bm Gowns – Bella Bridesmaid NYC – A

I fell inlove with bridesmaids dresses called Lulakate .. the only place they sold them was bella Bridesmaids so I took my girls into the city to check them out and the girls adored them. They each got to pick their own dress.. They looked amazing the day of and the customer service at the store was great .. Eva helped us and she was a doll.


















Mens tuxes – Mens Wearhouse – B++++++++

We went to mens wearhouse in Plainview and dealt with Sonny.. He is great and DH would go to him before wedding for all his suits so we knew we would use them for the wedding. They were great to deal with had a few snags along the way but they fixed everything.. The guys looked great!!!



Mens Ties – bloomingdales – A +++++++

We wanted the navy blue burberry ties for the guys and found them for a great price at bloomingdales.. we got 30 percent off original and evengot one for DH. I looved the way they looked the day of the wedding.











Flowergirl dress – Barrons – A

We ordered the dress from Barron in tri county and they were awesome to deal with. Great customer service and the dress came in fast. I looved the dress and she looked adorable.






Day of Makeup – Jacqueline Nicole – A ++++++++++++

I looooove her!!! She is soo sweet .. I knew the firs time I met her that I was goin to book her on the spot and I did. She is soo talented and I felt like I have known her forever. The day of the wedding I felt horrible cause she got stuck in the flood but as soon as she got there she was super officiant and made up for lost time. She is awesome and one of my favorite vendors .. I loooved my makeup!

Day of Hair – mya Cosmetic Artistry – A ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I seriously can not give her a high enough mark!! She was by far the best the day of my wedding.. She was super fast and officiant and helped out soo much since we were running a little late.. she did so many of my girls and everyone looved how they came out.. I was super thrilled with my look since it wasn’t the initial hair style we did on the trial and she did an amazing job!!!

My best friend put my hair up for the reception so I wanted to give her props too cause I absolutely loooved it.. Fm me for details if interested?
























Flowers – Verbena – A ++++++++++++++++++++

I loooved Jen the minute I met her. She does such an amazing job and I loooove her flowers. She totally got my vision and the day of flowers were gorgeous and I couldn’t have asked for more.. she also works within your budget.. I was super happy !!!


















RJ Limos – A +++++++++

We got our party bus through them because DH knows Kevin and they gave us the best deal out of anyone. They were ontime the day of and had no complaints. I would highly recommend them






Church – ST Patricks Glen Cove – A ++++++++++++

We looooooved our church and the people that are a part of it. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with during this process and neither me nor my hubby were a parishoner there. They took us in like we were their own.. Father thom was soo amazing the day of the wedding. Everyone kept telling us it was such a beautiful ceremony.. I was soo happy we found this church.











Programs and unity candle – we DIY’ed them and they came out great!! I was super happy with the results?







DJ – Tommy Tunes – A +++

We booked Tommy Tunes initially because they did my brothers wedding and they were awesome had everyone dancing all night and super affordable.. Frank was our MC and he was everything we could ask for.. He had everyone up the whole night and wasn’t over the top which we wanted.. Loooved the music but the only funny thing was that we had a choreographed dance for our first dance and I was soo excited about this double turn I had coming and right before I did my turn he called everyone on the dance floor to come out and dance with us so no one saw it ? I was soo pissed!!!! Lol. But technically I did say everyone can come out half way through but thought he knew when the dance was over. Just a little misunderstanding.. They were awesome and everyone couldnt rave enough!! :)









Videography – Golden Moments – Waitin gon video for rating

I loooved pat as soon as I met with him.. My friend and I was at his office for 3 hours just bs’ing .. felt like I known him for years. He is soo personable and super taleneted. I booked him on the spot and was soo happy I did. The day of the wedding he was on time and so ifficiant. He caught every moment of the day and I cant wait to get my video..

Photography – Thomas Paul – A +++++++++++++++++++++++

The very first time we met Tom we knew he was the one to capture our wedding. He was so down to earth and personable.. He is super talented and we looved the personal touch he puts on everything. We were super happy to work with him. The day of the wedding he was on point and worked fast to get the pics we needed to make our wedding special. I was soo happy to get all my proofs and looove very picture. He truly got most of the pics we wanted and we didn’t even have to give a list. I highly recomment him and cant wait to pic out my album. We loooooved all the pics!!!! Amazing!


































































































































Inn at New Hyde Park – A ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This place is absolutely breathtaking and amazing!! We went to check out 3 places and we knew as soon as we stepped in there that this was our place.. Frank the BM was so professional and welcoming from day one up until our wedding. We didn’t have one snafu the whole day there. They even threw in a couple things here and there that we were so pleased with. The food was outstanding and everyone who was at the wedding couldn’t rave enough!! They went above and beyond and it was worth every penny!! I loove them there and they made my wedding so special and will never forget it!














Honeymooon – A +++++++

We went to Hawaii and it was perfect!! Everything we wanted and more.. We stayed at the Four Seasons in Maui which was over the top amazing!! I looved this hotel and it was perfect for honeymoon.. They totally made you feel special in every way and I didn’t want to leave , lol. In kauai we stayed at Grand Hyatt which was beautiful.. We really liked it but it was huge and I kept getting lost.. also a lot of families too.. The last night we checked out and used my starwood points to stay at The St regis in Princeville.. It was spectacular. The room was a jr suite and it was exquisite.. We kinda wished we stayed there the whole time.. but it was nice to see the different side of the island so we got the best of both worlds. I wish I had pics but as most of you know my camera was stolen at the airport on the way home from the honeymoon we we have no pics! The only pic I do have it one that a couple took of us on their iphone and texted to us. So enjoy, lol
