Just like many of the girls on this site, I don’t know what I would have done without LIW. It is truly so much help, not only are the people amazing but the reviews on vendors here helped me make most of my choices for my wedding. So here’s my review, enjoy!

Engagement ring: Zales A+ (Bronx, NY)
I fell in love with my ring as soon as I saw it. I’ve looked at many others since I’ve gotten my current ring and I cant see me changing it for anything in the world.

Wedding bands: Zales A+ (Bronx,NY)
Once again no complaints. The people at Zales are professional and worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted.

STD magnet: Vistaprint.com A+
Fast, easy and they came out lovely. Everyone complimented the fact that they never saw a magnet like this… Some even thought they were the actual invitation.

Invitations: ******** Paper*e Te$$a A+
She is such a sweetheart and a pleasure to work with. My invitations exceeded my expectations.

Wedding Dress: Oleg Cassini David’s Bridal (Scarsdale, NY) A+
When I first saw this dress I was not crazy about it. But then I put it on and fell in love I knew it was the perfect dress for me. The attendant picked this dress out on her own.

Alterations: David’s Bridal (Scarsdale,NY) C+
If I knew now what I know today about the alterations department in David’s Bridal, I would have taken my dress elsewhere. Not only are they overpriced, but I had to have 6 different fittings because they kept doing everything wrong! First the bustle was uneven, then they didn’t shorten my dress at all, next they cut it crooked… The list goes on.

BM's Dresses: David's Bridal (Scarsdale NY)A+
My MOH's dress was a complete nightmare, the first dress she brought she took to a local tailor and when she got it back... it fit like a shirt! he cut so much off of it her whole backside was showing! She then called David's bridal a day before the wedding, and they made sure that my MOH had a brand new dress.


Shoes: Lord and Taylor Palisades Mall (West Nyack, NY) A+
I always dreamed about having Mischka Badgley shoes… But they were sooooooo expensive I couldn’t see myself spending over $200 on any. Then just my luck I walk into lord and taylor and they have the shoe on sale and in my size! I jumped on it of course. No regrets.

Second dress: Neelam Boutique Palisades mall, West Nyack, NY A+
I searched for a good party dress high and low for months. Went to so many places and I couldn’t find anything that I wanted. I walked into Neelam Boutique and tried on a long Faviana dress that I fell in love with and then I was shown that the dress was also made short. I ordered the dress and couldn’t have been happier.

Second Dress Alterations: Chic Boutique the Galleria (Westchester, NY) A+
My dress was sent to this sister store because the store I purchased the dress from was moving locations. The people here were super friendly and even helped me pick out the perfect shoes for the dress.
Men’s Tuxes: Men’s Warehouse (Scarsdale, NY) A
Nothing much to say here, we had to wait a bit for service, but overall everything was on point.

Favors: Exclusivelyweddings.com A+
Bottle openers and measuring spoons
I was very undecided about what I should do for favors. I was cutting it close for time and I went and ordered this and got a great deal. Best of all they look really good and the price was even better. Fast shipping.

DOJ: Macy’s Walt Whitman Mall A+
Two weeks till the wedding and I found myself struggling to find something that I liked. I walked into Macy’s and just about tried everything. I was ready to give up until my mom suggested I try something different. So I did and it was perfect! The attendant was very patient and willing to help.

DOJ Groom’s jewelry Zales A+
Purchased a diamond bracelet and earrings. He was very happy that I in one way or another was making this our day, and not only worried about me.

DJ/ Photographer: The wedding kitchen (Fords, NJ)
This was recommended to us by a family friend and we got a really great deal for booking two vendors. They are lovely people and work with you to achieve a budget that you’re happy with.

Hair: Angela’s hair design
Angela is so great to work with. She made small talk and we had a good time. Especially when she informed me that I shouldn’t be freaking about the meters outside, since after all it was Sunday!

Makeup: Glam me up (Kelly)
Kelly was on time and worked quickly. Her work is great and I had no issues with make up. She even gave me a lip gloss to have for the day.

Venue: Leonard’s of Great Neck: Leading up to wedding C. Day of wedding A+
Before the wedding we had a lot of issues getting our questions answered, when we would answer the receptionist would say that our BM would call us back. Every time, she did not. I would only get to talk to her when I was giving a payment towards the wedding.

The day of the wedding leonard’s was beautiful! The sun was shining, it was warm out and I didn’t even notice the other bride that was also having her wedding there. They took care of everything, and gave me no trouble they handled everything that came their way. The food was great and people were raving!


Flowers: Sayville Flowers (Sayville, NY)
There is nothing negative that I can say about Christine. She is a lovely person to work with and she even delt with me changing everything on her two weeks till the wedding. She didn’t seem at all bothered and really worked with us to get us what we wanted and helped me create the vision I was seeking.

MOB Dress: Nordstrom (Westchester, NY)

MOB shoes: DSW (Scarsdale,NY)
She loved her shoes, and whats better than a 25% off coupon.

Limos: Whitestar Limos Escalade & 2012 Chrysler 300
The owner of the company is AMAZING. He gave us a great deal for our limos. Cars were clean, drivers were friendly, and they arrived early.

Isle Runner: Etsy.com Cycling4acure
I brought my isle runner from Cycling4acure’s shop. Everything in her shop that is brought some of the proceeds of the sale goes to a charity. The isle runner was everything I could ask for, she at first sent us our isle runner with the colors backwards as to how I wanted, she immediately made another for me and got it to me within a couple of days

CardBox, Guest book & pen: Etsy.com jamiekimdesigns
Cardbox was a very good size. Guest book was good size and had a lot of pages. I loved the lace.

Memorial Candle: Etsy.com wreathartist
Created specifically what I asked, candle burned all night and only made a little hole leaving the candle intact and pretty for a keepsake.

Cake topper: Etsy.com barbiehilldesigns
I couldn’t be happier with my cake topper! It was my favorite thing to buy.

Cake: Palermo’s Bakery
Their cakes are to die for! They taste great and my budget got me my dream cake. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Garter: Etsy.com petalnpearlboutique
This garter I fell in love with as soon as I saw it and I had to have it!!!

Thanks, the cake tastes better than it looked!!! Time went by so quickly. So many emotions and thoughts like 'damned I should of gotten a car/house with all the money spent' but at the end of the day..... I wish I could do it all over and I wouldnt change anything

There's nothing I would do differently except get a videographer, thats my only regret. If its in ur budget then DO IT!
