Question for Mark and other photographers
Do you ask your clients to show you samples of wedding photos they like so you can customize your work to their tastes? If so, do you have any favorite websites that brides can use to find their preferences? Thanks!

Question for Mark and other photographers
If you see something particular that helps us understand your personality then by all means you can make a copy to show. However, I myself don't find that to be too helpful because sometimes those pictures don't really reflect your personality. All photographers work a bit differently. Our work is about each bride's different personality. You should speak with your photographer to see how he works.

Question for Mark and other photographers
Whenj clients retain our services for wedding photography we give them a folder. We encourage them to include any photos, photostats, pictures from museums or wedding or fashion magazines and more importantly information about their wedding and desires photographicallly. We use several information questionnaires in our interviews and preparation for the wedding. Often, we turn ideas and concerns into photos of the heart that the Bride and groom didn't imagine at first. On the other hand, we have much equipment, experience, and training in different styule that we can come close to duplicating a specific photograph or photographic style if you have that specific a request. We try our best to customize each wedding to your desires.

Question for Mark and other photographers
It is always best to choose your photographer for their style of shooting, which they probably developed over many years. If you don't see what you like, giving them other photographer's work to copy won't get you what you want.

re: Verdi's answer, etc.
Good point! It''s sometimes helpful to get an idea of what appeals to the bride as long as it is in line with reality (photographer''s style, bride and groom''s and family and bridal party''s personalities, logistics, and possibilities.) I have a particular picture on my wall that everyone loves and asks for, but only works when all the elements come together.Welcome New Vendors
