Vendor help for OHEKA Castle

I am getting married at Oheka Castle in November of 2009. I have not met with any vendors as of yet. If you are an approved vendor of the castle, could you please give me some information. I have received some mail but of course the most important details I have yet to find out.... prices.

I am from Staten Island, and being that mine and my fiance's work schedules are crazy it would be hard for the both of us to keep coming out to L.I. to meet with different vendors.


If anyone can send me some information I would really appreciate it!!

Hi Shannon,

I've photographed weddings at Oheka Castle. A vendor doesn't have to be an 'approved' vendor to work at Oheka. All a vendor needs is proof of insurance in the amount of one million or greater. This is pretty standard for all reception halls.

I'm located 10-minutes from Oheka.

I sent you a FM with the information you requested. I believe officiants are exempt from the $500.00 fee Oheka charges to use vendors that aren't on the approved list. In any event your day is going to be amazing! And I wish you many years of love and happiness.

Hi Shannon,

What a great place to get married!
Since you live on Staten Island, and don't want to make so many trips to meet vendors, I suggest going to the OHEKA Bridal Showcase on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 5pm – 9pm. It would be a great opportunity to meet and see the work of a whole bunch of vendors all at the same time. And Fat Cat Paperie will be there too (we're recommended vendors at Oheka).

I've worked with several Oheka couples, and that's where they've found the people they ended up working with. What's nice about using the recommended vendors, is that they have been approved by Oheka as offering exceptional quality services.

As far as the design process for invitations...If possible I would love to have one face to face meeting to discuss paper, color & style, but after that everything can be done via email and snail mail. And if you come to the show, that could be our one face to face meeting. I appreciate you not wanting to travel over that expensive Verrazano Bridge more than you have to.

I hope to see you at the show. And if you want me to put you in touch with a couple of Oheka brides so you can pick their brains, I'd be happy to do that.
