Pedestals Review - Updated

As I posted in my mini-review, Pedestals made a big error on my wedding day and delivered the flowers to the wrong church.

Before I could even contact them to let them know, and as soon as our florist (Nadia) found out what happened, she called me to apologize. She also offered to make it up to us in what I think is a very fair way. She was nothing but polite, professional, and apologetic when she called.

I just wanted to post this so other Pedestals brides (or those considering them) don't freak out based on what I posted. Like I stated in my mini-review (and will again when I post my full review), the flowers themselves were perfect and exactly what we ordered. (Non-pro pics are in my album) 2 out of 3 deliveries were on time to the right location.

While it was inexcusable that my very specific directions were not followed, I have quite a bit of respect for a vendor that follows up as they did when a mistake was made.

I'm a big believer in being fair, so I wanted to make sure that everyone knew that the situation was resolved appropriately. Everyone makes mistakes, and I appreciate it when a vendor can admit to and apologize for a mistake.

Unless you're getting married in a very confusing place like I am, I don't think you'll have any problems with Pedestals. Like I said, my flowers were stunning.

I also should say that I should have contacted them BEFORE posting my mini-review so I could have posted the entire story (though my review was fact-specific and NOT inflammatory in any way)... I'm just trying to dig myself out from the wedding stuff we left behind and they were closed Monday, so I didn't get around to it.

So there you have the full story. Mistakes were made, but appropriately resolved.
