RH Venue Big Enough... Our Guest list is massive

Hey Everyone,

Sooo, I possibly have 400+ to invite! Our families are way too big.

What Venues can fit that amount? Most places max out at 350/400 people. Ahh, I really don't want to resort to Jersey or New Rochelle... I just joined and love this site too much to leave ;) haha

So far I know...

Crest Hollow
Lombardi's?

Bare Fitters/ 400 max'ers....

Sancastle?

Yeaa I went through the LIweddings list they have. Although it's mostly accurate, there's a few places from the list we saw that don't fit that many very comfortably.

Definitely check out East Wind! (Biased) they can easily accommodate you and their food is amazing. Penny is my BM and she's great to work with!

Also you have to figure that if you invite 400 not all will come so you'll have some wiggle room there. Good luck. East Wind has delicious food :) We were just married at SC and they were more than I could've asked for.

Crest Hollow, that is where my FH has his fire dept dinner every year and they usually have like 500 people there also the Sands in Atlantic Beach I believe hold that many people

I think Land's End might be able to accommodate that many people.

So I'm definitely going to see East Wind soon. Can't wait, it was actually one of the first places I looked at online. FM quotes if you have any please.

I totally canceled my appointment for Floral Terrace a while ago and completely forgot it existed. Must look. I didn't realize they're owned by the same people as Sancastle. My cousin had hers there. Sancastle has a great package-deal and real friendly staff. Hoping Floral will be the same.

Crest Hollow has a great large setting, beautiful place, but I've had a few friends & family who've used Crest and I kind of want to set my own mark.

I loved The Inn at NHP, FW hated it. The tables weren't set, so she felt like the Grand Hall was to mellow/plain... What to do with her. I liked how Jericho Terrace looked, but the main Ballroom is under construction and we would have had to have our CH, dinner, Bridal Suites, etc.. on like 4 different floors because of our numbers. Got too complicated, but they did offer one of the best quotes I've seen.

Definitely check out Floral Terrace. Everyone there has been so kind and helpful to me. It is so easy to get in contact with the BM, Frank. He is a doll. Be sure to talk to him. My questions were always answered right away and he gave great suggestions.

The Hyatt Regency on motor parkway actually has a HUGE room that they use to accommodate a lot of weddings. I think the room holds 500! I haven't seen it yet but I just started working there and we have a lot of weddings going on constantly and it's a beautiful hotel!

I've been to bigger wedding than that at Marina del Rey up in the Bronx. They do a great job.

When I originally called my venue they told me the minimum was normally 250 for a Saturday night but they could bring it down in the winter. I just remember saying 'well that's good, I'd rather not have to hand out flyers on a corner.'

All the multiple weddings at a time venues kept trying to shove me in their 'small rooms,' so had I chosen one of them, I would be very jealous of you big wedding ladies. You get the nicest rooms
