NWR: Need apartment help!

FH and I are starting to look at apartments. Does anyone know of anything in the Selden area? We cant go any further then 1 mile outside of Selden because we are both in the Fire Department and dont want to transfer to another district. We would like to stay in the $1200/mo price range. Any suggestions?

We lived in the Fairfield at Selden apartments on College Rd. We lived their almost 3 years and really loved the setup of the apartments. We were in the larger 1 bedroom and started paying $1250 a month for the first year because we signed a lease during a 'special' but I'm pretty sure that special is an all the time thing haha. The only thing that I didn't like is that every year your rent gets raised and it's in the contract. If we had signed another year we would have been paying well over $1400 a month which was not worth it to us.

Were going to see them tomorrow actually! Weve heard that they do a lot of fee waiving for FD members there (theres a TON of members living in there right now) but the rent is still pretty high. The one that were interested in is listed at $1380 and we have a small dog so thats extra too. Thanks for the advice tho! Ill def let you know how it goes!
