The cast of ABC's hit show 'Lost' took part in a photo shoot a few days back at beautiful Wamanalo Beach on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu.

It may surprise you, but this was a reunion of sorts. The entire cast doesn't show up for every scene -- it's done in groups. So the photo shoot was an opportunity to reunite. Behind the scenes -- there was tension, wackiness and heat.

* Evangeline Lilly (Kate) insisted on stopping the photo shoot numerous times to adjust her hair and make-up. Co-star Yunjin Kim (Sun) was none too pleased, shooting icy stares Evangeline's way.

* Jorge Garcia (Hurley) -- who is supposed to be losing weight -- stopped off at a McDonalds beforehand, and then struggled to get into some of the clothes he wore for the shoot.

* Naveen Andrews (Sayid) turned heads when he insisted on strutting around the set bare-chested.

* Joker Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) did a bizarre 'hobbit style' dance for co-star Josh Holloway (Sawyer) and his wife Yessica, much to the amusement of the crew.

* Matthew Fox (Jack) - just like his surly character on the show - hardly spoke or interacted with his cast mates.

And, we're told that Michelle Rodriguez (Ana) and Cynthia Watros (Libby) were absent from the photo shoot. The women were arrested last December, both for allegedly driving under the influence, in separate incidents. Watros pleaded guilty to the charge and Rodriguez's case is pending.

Yesterday — three days after formally announcing his split from Kimora Lee Simmons, his wife of seven years — hip-hop and fashion mogul Russell Simmons told me there's still 'a possibility' they can save their marriage.

'This morning we woke up, the four of us, in the same bed — which is pretty normal for us,' Simmons told me, referring to Kimora and their daughters Ming Lee, 6, and Aoki, 3. He said the family started the day at their Saddle River, N.J., mansion — one of several Simmons residences, including an East Hampton estate, a Tribeca loft and houses in L.A. 'On the day we made our announcement, I picked up my children from school and took them to see 'Ice Age 2: The Meltdown' with Kimora.'

But at the same time, the 48-year-old Simmons acknowledged that he's been spending quality time with 23-year-old Dominican beauty and rap video starlet Denise Vasi, and insisted that he'd approve if Kimora, the 30-year-old 'Fabulosity' author, found another guy.

'There would be just two requirements,' Simmons told me. 'One, he'd better be sweet to Kimora. Two, he'd better love my children.'

Simmons complained about press accounts of their split 'that made it look like we were unfaithful to each other. That's not true. We know each other very well.' Simmons — who defines 'unfaithful' as 'dishonest' — indicated he'd told Kimora about his relationship with Vasi. 'Yes, I'd been out with this girl. She's very sweet,' he said.

During a phone interview that was interrupted twice by an aide saying that Kimora was trying to reach him, Simmons added: 'I work with her 14 hours a day. The question is, do we want to be together 24 hours a day?

'We're making a space and taking some time, but we're best friends,' said Simmons. 'We're still going to have our media interests and our fashion interests. I am producing her reality show, and we're raising our children together. From what the public sees, there's absolutely no change.'

Saturday, Russell and Kimora will be at Mar-a-Lago, where Donald and Melania Trump will co-host a Palm Beach fund-raiser for the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation.

'We've been together for 14 years. She was 16 when we met,' Simmons said. 'Now I guess we're different. We have different tastes. We have different aspirations in life.'

Simmons said their separation drama will be featured on VH1's 'The Kimora Lee Simmons Show,' and laughed: 'I'm sure the producers want to get it on the show sooner rather than later.'

Simmons insisted that neither he nor Kimora has plans to hire lawyers to divide an estate potentially worth hundreds of millions of dollars, including companies involving fashion, jewelry, finance and television production. He said that Kimora wasn't available for comment.

'We're partners in everything. There's no money discussion with us. We're not going to have any fights over money. We're just not,' he told me. 'I'll bet you my bottom dollar and my top dollar.'

Looks like Hollywood's sexiest couple are on the rocks. While some reports say that the heavily pregnant Angelina Jolie has kicked her hunky husband-to-be out of the bedroom and onto the couch, another report literally goes a few steps further — and has Brad Pitt walking out the door.

'Brad and Ange have been fighting like cat and dog over where to have the baby, over whether Angelina should continue to fly and also over her thinness,' a source reveals in NW magazine.

Pitt is also apparently 'under pressure' from his family to get Ange to the alter as soon as possible as Brad's mum, Jane, is not keen on her grandchild being born out of wedlock.

But Angelina — who's seven-and-a-half months pregnant — is 'not committing' to a date, and her refusal to launch into bridal mode is the main reason behind Brad's 'dramatic' exit (either to the couch, or through the front door).

It's yet to be confirmed whether Brad's in the lounge room of the couple's Paris apartment, or whether he's actually left. But there have been signs of trouble in Parisian paradise for some weeks, with the couple spending more and more time apart and few recent photos of them together.

Perhaps the truth about their relationship will emerge when the bundle joy is finally is delivered. But as one insider says: 'Ange has been putting up obstacle after obstacle and it's clear to Brad she’s not just stalling anymore. Couric Says She's Leaving 'Today' for CBS

NEW YORK - On her 15th anniversary on 'Today,' Katie Couric told viewers Wednesday she's leaving NBC to join CBS, where she will become the first woman appointed to anchor a network evening newscast alone.

'I wanted to tell all of you out there who have watched the show for the past 15 years that after listening to my heart and my gut _ two things that have served me pretty well in the past _ I've decided I'll be leaving 'Today' at the end of May,' she said. 'I really feel as if we've become friends through the years.'

The 49-year-old Couric, longest-serving anchor in 'Today' show history, is expected to replace Bob Schieffer on the third-rated CBS broadcast in September. She agreed to a a salary near her current range of $13 million to $15 million for five years, according to a non-network person close to Couric, speaking on condition of anonymity.

CBS had no immediate comment Wednesday.

Following a months-long guessing game that has consumed the TV industry, Couric chose the 15th anniversary of her first day as 'Today' co-host in 1991 to say it's time for a change. 'Today' ran a clip of her first day with then co-host Bryant Gumbel, which Couric joked was '172 hairstyles' ago.

'Sometimes I think change is a good thing,' Couric said. 'Although it may be terrifying to get out of your comfort zone, it's also very exciting to start a new chapter in your life.'

'It's hard to imagine being here and not having you sitting next to us,' co-host Matt Lauer told her.

The bold move simultaneously forces NBC to find a new team for 'Today,' television's most profitable news program, and gives CBS News President Sean McManus a major success in his effort to lure more stars to his beleaguered news organization.

Meredith Vieira of the daytime chat show 'The View' has emerged as the leading candidate to team with Lauer. Vieira, a former CBS News reporter who won a Daytime Emmy as host of 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,' had previously turned down offers to return to news since joining 'The View.'

An NBC spokeswoman would not comment on succession plans.

Couric, Lauer, newsreader Ann Curry and weathercaster Al Roker have formed TV news' most successful morning team in history since 1997, with 'Today' riding an unprecedented 10-year streak at the top of the ratings.

During that time, morning news programs have simultaneously grown in influence and have become important entertainment vehicles. The job required Couric to both interview presidents and don goofy costumes on Halloween, not to mention having to wake up well before dawn.

'Today' is currently seen by about 6 million viewers a day, while the 'CBS Evening News' has been averaging upwards of 7.5 million. But it's a significant change in status from top dog to underdog: CBS' evening newscast has been at the rear in the ratings for many years.

Couric's contract with NBC, owned by General Electric Co., extends to the end of May and she's expected to remain at 'Today' through that ratings sweeps month.

The lure of trying something new and making history in the evening proved enticing to Couric, who is also expected to contribute to '60 Minutes.' She spurned a more lucrative offer _ about $20 million a year _ to remain at NBC and accept the CBS Corp. offer, the person close to Couric said.

With Schieffer filling in during the year since Dan Rather's exit, the 'CBS Evening News' is the only network evening newscast rising in the ratings. But it's still in third place behind NBC and ABC.

'I will be delighted if she came,' Schieffer said Tuesday. 'I think she'll be a great addition to a very good news team. ... I've known Katie for years and I think the world of her.'

If a deal with Vieira can't be reached, the top in-house candidates to replace Couric are 'Today' weekend anchor Campbell Brown, NBC reporter Natalie Morales and Curry.
